Spray St, Elwood Spray St lies between Glenhuntly Road and St Kilda St, in the oceanographic quarter of the bayside suburb of Elwood. Its the best street in Elwood to live!!!

A quiet treelined street, with a small reserve in the middle, the W E Dickeson Plantation, it is home to a range of people. The Elster Creek/Elwood Canal lies to the north east of the street, and the Elwood village to the south west. The street has had a couple of fun successful street parties.

For us to do

Round of applause to all of us staying home (really, stand on your balcony, stick your head out the window or open the front door and clap). Together we’re supporting our hospitals and medical professionals, saving lives and stopping COVID-19. That’s history-making.

No Victorian will be left to fend for themselves during this pandemic.

We still need people to be self-reliant and call on family and friends when possible, but relief packages will be distributed to isolated and vulnerable people in quarantine.

They will be free – and delivered to those who need it in most here in Albert Park and all over Victoria. They'll include food and other necessities to get through the 14 days.

To access them, call the coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398.

And remember there is plenty of food for all Victorians, there is no need to panic buy.

Look after each other, because together we’ll get through this.

To everyone working from home today, thank you! But don’t let physical distancing stop you from connecting with work colleagues and loved ones. Phone, video call them. Stay connected.

We are aware of a social media post being shared claiming a freight company was stockpiling food and sanitary items in a Footscray factory for overseas export.

Police have spoken to the company and found these claims to be false.

Advice from DHS on stopping the spread of COVID 19

If you have been asked to self-isolate, it means staying at home with adequate supplies, not hoarding.

Practice good hygiene and keep your home clean. When in isolation, monitor yourself for symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, tiredness or shortness of breath.

If symptoms develop, please call the hotline on 1800 675 398.

Evening all. This is a bit of a sporadic page, but with the Corona Virus Pandemic, I thought it would be good to reactivate it.

Feel free to post useful information on how to manage, or if people have a free roll of toilet paper, or some other random act.

Please don't post negative stuff. There's enough negativity out there, we don't need to reinforce it.

Please also be respectful to each other as well. These are tough times, and we don't need conversations descending into slanging matches or worse.
