Winter is coming 🥶…. Stay motivated people.
To often many of us lose the desire to do anything during the colder months. We stop going out and socialising with friends and family, choosing to stay in and watch our shows on TV. Unfortunately along with this comes the comfort food and a few extra drinky poos, this combined with reduced activity puts our health at risk.
Fact is the colder months are the most important months to remain active and exercise most days.
If we stay active during these crappy months we ensure we remain heart healthy and closer to our summer body goals.
What are your health and fitness goals for the year?.
Me personally I recently trained for a bodybuilding competition and lost 10kg whilst doing my best to retain my muscle mass.
After going to a posing workshop roughly 6 weeks from the show I decided it wasn’t for me, and remembered how much I didn’t like being on stage the first time I did it 7 years ago. But I achieved the physique I was chasing, so I am proud of myself… and that’s what we should all be chasing.
So in the first half of this year I had a goal in to get crazy lean as that’s what’s required for bodybuilding (not particularly the healthiest lifestyle), now I have a new goal in mind.

That’s what all our goals should be, be the best you can be, you are only in competition with yourself.
So this winter I’m going to stay consistent with my diet and training, gradually increasing calories to allow my body to grow and not feel guilty about eating out or having cake etc.
Understanding how to best implement this balance can be confusing, but that’s where I can help you….
