With over 2.13 million joint replacement procedures recorded in the 2024 Annual Report, and an estimated billion dollars of benefit to the Australian health system, the AOA National Joint Replacement Registry is considered a global leader in joint replacement data collection.
An inaugural AOANJRR Education Forum has been designed to share and contextualise the capabilities, features, collaborations, and interfaces of the AOANJRR with key stakeholders of the Australian health community.
Educational sessions throughout the day will cover topics including the operation of the Registry, evidence-based research, patient recorded outcome measures, and introduction of new medical devices, followed by a dinner and debate on the topic of the regulatory environment of new devices in Australia.
