ate energy. Life is always moving, always changing. Many of us can feel caught up, or feel as though they are being pushed from pillar to post in these constant, never ceasing, processes of life. Meditation provides for us an unchanging ground of well being. So we begin by practicing meditation a little and often and eventually begin to integrate the practice into everything we do. What we come to find is that eventually this becomes an established way of living our life. We rest in the quality of Life Force...we rest in just being. Postures for the Body
Inspiration to take action comes from our core
The power of Core Strength. Our "Core" sits in alignment with our Solar plexus. This is our power-on Switch which provides us with a spark of energy that ignites us into Action. Your desire or "will power" radiates from the centre of your body and its energy propels you to move forward toward fulfilling your dreams or goals. In a Pilates class we focus on Postures, Breathing and Concentrating the mind - each element working together with one supporting the other. The ultimate Aim of this, is having the mind and body working together. Postures for the Heart
Life, at times can be difficult, and one of life’s greatest challenges is how to enjoy it. Heart Meditation is using the power of the heart to balance your thoughts and emotions - helping you strengthen the level of your emotional and thought fitness. Heart Coherence is when the rhythm of your heart beat, and the frequency of your thoughts, together with the flow of your breath all sing in tune with each other. Where your Body, Mind and You create a physiological state that builds resiliency, and where personal energy is accumulated, not wasted, leaving you with more energy to manifest intentions and harmonious outcomes.

“I Am a Woman of Prayer”
A poetic meditation
I am a woman of prayer.
Like a beam of light stretched through silence,
in prayer, my heart and mind reach outward - beyond the borders of knowing, into the vast and living mystery.
I reach into the great void - not empty, but infinite - where no-thing exists,
and yet everything sacred is.
Here, I do not grasp for answers.
I do not demand form.
I surrender — and in that surrender, I find a truth. In that presence, I find peace.
Assistance that flows without asking.
Grace that wraps around sorrow.
Light that holds even the darkest spaces.
Prayer is not my escape — it is my returning.
To myself.
To Source.
To the quiet rhythm beneath all things.
I am a woman of prayer.
And in that prayer, I am never alone.
I am heard.
I am held.
I am home.

At the Edge of the Season
The sun rests gently on my back, A quiet guest, not fierce, not slack.
Its warmth is tender, not to stay-Just one soft note before it fades away.
Leaves let go with quiet grace, No rush, no cry, no need to race.
They spiral down through autumn air,
As if the trees no longer care— Or care enough to let things be, To trust the rhythm we rarely see.
A magpie sings, not loud, not long, A single line of a fading song.
The breeze arrives with a cooler tone, A whisper saying, You’re not alone.
The garden breathes beneath my feet, So slow, so deep, so still, so sweet.
No need to move, no need to plan, The world turns fine without my hand.

Mucking around with old and new friends😀🩷🤗🙏Perfect autumn day hike.

Today's walk led me to the water’s edge, where light danced and shimmered around me, intertwining with the natural world in a way that felt both intimate and expansive. The play of light caught my attention, and I became transfixed by the notion of Thinking Light.
Light is often associated with purity, clarity, and spiritual illumination. It is an energy that nurtures and revitalizes, much like the sun’s warmth or the soft glow of the moon on a still night. In healing, light becomes a force of restoration—whether imagined as divine, internal, or cosmic—channelling balance and peace. Just as sunlight nourishes the Earth, light in its many forms nurtures the spirit, flowing into us like a living force. Similarly, practices like chromotherapy harness the restorative power of sunlight, reminding us that light itself is as much a healer as it is a symbol of insight.
As I stood by the water, I began to sense the deeper connection between Thinking Light and the elements. The element of water, so reflective and fluid, often symbolizes emotions, the subconscious, and intuition—the inner tides of the heart and mind. But in this moment, light in
water unfolded as a powerful metaphor: like sunlight breaking through the surface of deep water, it felt as though clarity and insight were emerging from the depths of emotion, from mystery to understanding. It was as if nature itself—the earth, the sky, the water, and the light—was alive within me, harmonizing with the elements of my own being.
Thinking Light took on a new meaning as I felt the interconnectedness of nature’s elements active within my mind, heart, and body. Just as the earth is nourished by rain, the body and heart are nourished by light, and the mind, like water, carries the flow of thoughts and emotions. Before my walk, I had felt burdened, weighed down by the heaviness of life. But now, standing at the water’s edge, I was filled with the feeling of lightness—light, not as a distant force, but as something that had taken root within me. My emotions and thoughts, once tangled and heavy, now floated with grace and ease, illuminated by the quiet radiance of the light on the water.
This, I realized, was spirituality in action: a tangible manifestation of the elements within. Like a meditation, thoughts and emotions became illuminated as they moved across the still waters of my mind. The light dancing on the water was a reflection of my own inner state—calm, clear, and deeply connected to the natural world around me.
"Healing energy of light, thinking light in water." These words resonated within me, like a poetic mantra. Thinking Light is not merely a mental process; it is the radiant, living energy of consciousness itself. It suggests that our thoughts are not just abstract or intellectual—they are luminous, flowing through us like beams of light moving through water. They are born of the earth, the sky, the sun, and the moon, rising from the depths of our subconscious, carrying the wisdom of nature’s elements.
In this light, Thinking Light becomes a powerful reminder that the mind, heart, and body are always in dialogue with the natural world. Just as the light moves through water, our inner awareness moves through us—illuminating, healing, and flowing gently from the depths of our emotions. Quiet, powerful, and intimately connected to the very forces of nature that shape and sustain life itself.

Life is full of complexity. There are many layers to everything: our bodies, minds, emotions, relationships, and the wider world. Sometimes all of this feels tangled or overwhelming. But spirituality teaches that this complexity is part of a greater, hidden order—like the many delicate seeds of a dandelion head, each part of a whole.

Finding our place of centre helps us stay steady within it all. To center is to return to a calm, clear space inside ourselves. Practices like meditation, prayer, or simply resting in stillness help us reconnect with our inner peace. When we center, we can observe our busy thoughts and feelings without being swept away by them. We remember the quiet strength that holds everything together.

Centering is more than a personal tool—it is a unifying force. It draws together the scattered pieces of our experience, weaving them into a sense of wholeness. Just as a dandelion’s slender stem holds together its many seeds, centering connects the different aspects of our lives into a single, balanced flow.

The image of the dandelion deepens this mystical view. When we are present and centered, something begins to blossom inside us—like a dandelion’s bright yellow flower appearing suddenly in an empty field. Over time, this flowering matures, and what was once a simple bloom becomes a globe of seeds, ready to be carried by the wind. In this way, our spiritual growth is not just for ourselves but spreads out, touching others in unseen ways.

Dandelions remind us that while life may seem ordinary or messy, there is a quiet magic at work. Even in unexpected places, such as finding this field to sit, contemplate, enjoy and be nourished by; beauty and wisdom can take root and flourish. Through consciousness, complexity, and the unifying power of centering, we become like dandelions—strong, adaptable, and quietly sowing seeds of transformation wherever we are.

In Stillness, the Soul Speaks

In hush of dawn, where silence weaves,
Between the boughs of whispering leaves,
I sit alone, yet not apart—
The world recedes, I find my heart.

No voice but wind, no step but mine,
Time slows its beat, no need to shine.
The mind uncoils its restless thread,
In solitude, what once was dead—

Now breathes again, in softer light,
Beyond the reach of day or night.
Here thought takes wing, both sharp and deep,
Where secrets stir and shadows sleep.

A stillness grows, serene and wide,
Where noise once lived, now peace resides.
And in this quiet, raw and true,
I see not all—but more than few.

So let the world go rushing by,
With crowded streets and hurried sky.
For in this pause, I’ve come to see—
The soul finds strength in being free.

The most dangerous weapon, without doubt, is a frustrated and hollow human-with a beating heart.
Love is dynamite; it ignites and sets in motion everything it touches. As we deepen our spirituality, we become more dynamically engaged-tapped into the creative energies of love-living at the edge of change, flowing with evolution.
