✨ Meet Charlie ✨

Charlie is one of our wonderful Remedial Massage Therapists here at Heidelberg Massage Therapy Centre, specialising in sports massage and currently studying Sports & Exercise Science at Swinburne University.

Charlie plays elite level netball and is also a netball coach, which means she truly understands the demands placed on young, active bodies, from training and competition through to rest and recovery.

She has a special interest in supporting children and young athletes, helping growing bodies feel more comfortable, confident, and supported. Whether it’s easing muscle tension, supporting sports recovery, or simply helping kids feel more at home in their bodies, Charlie’s approach is calm, encouraging, and thoughtful.

With her warm nature and gentle presence, Charlie creates a space where children feel safe, listened to, and at ease. Every session is tailored and guided by what each child needs.

We’re so happy to welcome Gen to the HMTC family!

Currently studying a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy, Gen brings a heartfelt passion for holistic healing and a genuine desire to support others on their journey toward better health and wellbeing.

Guided by her love of self care and therapeutic touch, Gen helps clients find balance in both body and mind. Her personal practice of yoga beautifully complements her massage approach, deepening her understanding of movement, mindfulness, and the body’s natural ability to heal.

Gen’s goal is simple yet powerful, to create treatments that not only ease pain and tension but also nurture relaxation, vitality, and whole body wellness.

Pain is personal. However, it should never be isolating…

Pain has many names:
A dull throb.
A sharp stab.
A deep ache.
A burning thread woven through every day.
Sometimes it arrives with reason, injury, illness, diagnosis.
Other times, it stays without one.
That’s the nature of persistent pain:
Invisible. Complex. Uninvited. Persistent.

• ⚖️It’s not always proportional to injury, it’s shaped by biology, stress, memory, and emotion.
