From wheelchair to walking: Deborah's incredible transformation story 💪

When serious health challenges left 65-year-old Deborah unable to have life-saving surgery because of her weight, she turned to The 1:1 Diet for help.

Facing painful Achilles tendinitis, a staph infection, and mobility issues that led to weight gain, Deborah needed to lose 20kg quickly to qualify for essential back surgery.

With the support of her 1:1 Diet Consultant Amanda who created a personalised plan, Deborah replaced her meals with our delicious low-calorie smoothies, shakes, and soups. The best part? She never felt deprived, even while cooking for her partner!

In just five months, Deborah achieved her pre-surgery goal of losing 20kg. But she didn't stop there - continuing with The 1:1 Diet and gradually introducing healthy whole foods, she reached an incredible 50kg weight loss milestone!

From the Sidelines to My Best Game Yet!

I’ve always struggled with my weight, hiding under baggy clothes and feeling out of place. I loved sports, but my weight held me back—I was benched more than I played. It hit me hard, and I was ready to quit.

Just before my 16th birthday, my Mum suggested The , and we did it as a family. I started on Step 3A—and wow, it was easy! I learned to eat well, feel satisfied & set goals.

Meet Deborah Fabien 💪

A year ago, I sat in my wheelchair, watching life pass me by. Chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and a rapid 50kg weight gain left me facing a terrifying reality: “Lose 20kg or you may not survive surgery.”

I felt lost but I wasn’t giving up. I called Amanda The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan with Amanda Jane - Little Bay, a Sydney 1:1 Diet Consultant, and together we set a goal. With a personalised plan, meal replacements, and Amanda’s unwavering support, the weight started falling off; 5kg in the first week, 2kg every week after.

By January, I had lost 20kg and was cleared for surgery. But I didn’t stop there. Now, I’m 37kg down, pain-free, walking my dog for two hours a day, and loving life again.

🔥 Spicy Chicken Patties with Veggie Stir-Fry! 🔥

A flavour-packed, Step 2-friendly meal that’s quick, fresh, and full of goodness.

👩‍🍳 What you need:
✨1 chicken breast
✨ 4 spring onions
✨ ½ tsp paprika, ¼ tsp ground cumin, pinch of chilli flakes
✨ 2 cloves crushed garlic
✨ 50g snow peas, 50g broccoli, 100g mushrooms, ½ green capsicum
✨ Handful of Chinese leaves + a splash of soy sauce

💡 How to make it:
🔹 Blend chicken, spices and garlic, split into two portions & pan-fry for 5-6 mins.
🔹 Remove, then cook a clove of garlic in the pan.
🔹 Toss in the veggies, add soy sauce, and stir-fry to perfection.
