Kinesiology is a natural healing modality and communication tool that enables you to access and improve how you function in all areas of your life. It is the science of energy balancing and is grounded in the study of anatomy and physiology. Using muscles as monitors of stress and imbalance within the body, it enables the detection and improvement of various imbalances that may relate to any area of life, including nutrition, learning problems, injuries, emotional imbalances, concerns related to stress and many other issues. Reiki is one of the most ancient healing modalities known to mankind. You use energy throughout your day by just living. To maintain good health, you need to replenish that energy. When you are unable to do this, you may show signs of physical or emotional imbalances. Reiki is not only a simple and natural healing modality; it is also a very effective way of revitalising your life force and balancing the energy in your body. Reiki assists you to find your way back to a state of health and wholeness. In the practice of Yoga, slow is the new advanced and the result is a blend of rest and nurturing to rejuvenate your body, replenish your energy and calm your mind. Classes begin with a meditation, to quieten your busy mind and help calm you from the demands of your everyday life. You will then be guided through a series of slow movements combining with the breath to create inner peace and harmony. The effects of slow, mindful practices on neuroplasticity are well documented and you will quickly feel the benefits. No previous experience is necessary and classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. Unexpected encounter…

It’s been a gorgeous day today… sun shining, warm like Sprintime, a bit windy, but still a perfect day to get out for a bit of Nature Journalling down by Birrarung with my lovely friend Karen (Karen Buckland Yoga & Reiki).

As we sat chatting and sketching (well, tbh, up until that point Karen was doing most of the sketching! 😄) when suddenly this guy appeared. 🦘🥰

He kept his distance for a moment, checking us out, then bounded right passed along the path. He must have decided we weren’t a threat. 😄

Apologies for the 💩 photos! Taken quickly on my phone as he raced by, but still good enough for me to have a go at drawing him. 🤩

Once again the wisdom of Judith Hanson Lasater guides me. From her little book “A Year of Living Your Yoga: Daily Practices to Shape Your Life” these words came for me today.

“April 23 ~ “The greatest strength we possess is the unwillingness to give up hope.”

Living Your Yoga: Strength is not always obvious. Think about a challenge you face in your life. Sit down for five minutes today and imagine that situation from a hopeful viewpoint. Then act as if that hope were an actuality.”

Our Story

Hi! My name is Lyn Jordan.

I’ve been lots of things in my life – daughter, student, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, scientist, healer, yogini.... the list goes on. The thing I found... the thing I finally realised... is that I LOVE people. I love being with them. I love helping them. I love celebrating their joy and nurturing them in their sadness. I love working with them to achieve their goals.

This is what I really love to do. Helping people achieve their goals is my absolute passion. That realisation lead me to become a Kinesiologist and Reiki practitioner.
