At Interchange Outer East (IOE), we are committed to continuously improving our services to better meet the needs of the individuals and families we support. We are currently exploring the development of new group-based weekday programs and would greatly value your input.
These programs will be designed for young adults aged 18 to 25 and will include:
✅Learning-Based Program- Focused on developing essential skills such as money management, workplace readiness, self-advocacy, and everyday independence.
✅Life Skills Development- Emphasising health and wellbeing through fitness activities, food education, and practical daily living skills.
✅Social and Community Engagement- Opportunities to build social connections and participate in meaningful community-based activities, including volunteering.
✅Therapy-Based Group Programs- Incorporating therapeutic supports such as music therapy, group occupational therapy (OT), exercise therapy, and physiotherapy.
✅Flexible and Individualised Approach- Programs are delivered in small group settings and tailored to meet the unique goals, strengths, and support needs of each participant.
We understand that transitions—such as moving from school to new environments—can be challenging for some young people. To help support them during these times, we offer tailored support programs for participants aged 16 to 18, designed to meet their individual needs and goals.
You do not need to be currently registered with IOE to participate in providing feedback. We welcome both new and existing families, and we have capacity to accommodate additional participants.
🌟Your feedback is essential in helping us shape programs that are relevant, inclusive, and meaningful for the future. 🌟
