For me, when dealing with complete exhaustion as a new mum, I didn't have the energy to exercise, meal prep and rest wasn't an option with an unsettled baby with colic. My body needed time, lots of it, to recover.
When Eli was 8 months old, I decided to invest in myself in a small way. Sleep deprived and putting one step in front of the other I made 5 to 10 minutes a day for myself. Sounds simple enough, but for me it was a conscious decision I had to make because I knew I needed to take care of myself emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
5 to 10 minutes of self care at the end of each day, not knowing what my night would look like, I spent that time cleansing, applying oils and skincare products and giving back myself some well needed love, care and attention.
It became my ritual, just a small moment in my day when I took care of myself and I looked forward to it.
Now it has become my business to support and encourage other mums to make it a priority to make time for self care and with our beautiful range of Organic & Vegan skincare formulas that hydrate with hyaluronic acid and plant extracts so you can glow like you were born to do.
WHAT SELF CARE PRACTICE CAN YOU START? - even 5 minutes a day - to fill your cup as you navigate the transition of becoming a mother or welcoming another precious addition to the family. A gift for you from you.
The greatest gift you can give them is the best version of you xx
