After winning the Global Victoria Export Awards in the Small Business category, Anne De Luca and Robin Hansen travelled to Canberra this week for the 63rd National Export Awards.

While Molecule2Market didn’t take home the national award, being recognised as a national finalist for the second time is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s an honour to stand among some of the most innovative and impactful businesses in the country.

Anne and Robin were delighted to see friends and colleagues from CMAX Clinical Research and Southern Star Research also nominated.

We were especially proud to see CMAX take home the award for Professional Services - a fantastic achievement for an organisation that continues to elevate Australia’s life sciences sector.

A huge congratulations to the winners and finalists - and thank you to our clients and partners who make our work possible.

Last night Anne and Robin attended My Room’s Live Nation Special Evening. It was a wonderful opportunity for M2M to catch up with our partners at My Room and learn about the incredible support and contribution that My Room receives and the work that they do.

M2M partnered with My Room Children’s Cancer Charity earlier this year in an advisory role to provide them with a robust and independent process in reviewing and deploying grant funds with a long-term vision for scientific research.

The 61st Australian Export Awards were recently held at Parliament House in Canberra and all of the team at M2M were immensely proud to be representing Victoria in the small business category at the national awards.

Robin and Anne attended the event and had the pleasure of meeting many of the other nominees, including in the photo, the winners of the National Export Award for Regional Exporter, and Australian Exporter of the Year, the brilliant Abhay Sinha and Ishan Sinha, their company, Care Essentials, develops and manufactures medical devices.

M2M missed out to the small business category winners - MyVenue - a point-of-sale solutions for sports, entertainment and hospitality venues, big congratulations to them on this award. We were really delighted to be given a judges
commendation.

Congratulations to all of the winners and finalists of the 61st . It was an excellent opportunity and so good to see so much diversity and home grown talent. Thank you to Australian Trade and Investment Commission ( ) for championing Australian businesses and organizing these awards.

Robin Hansen and Anne De Luca recently had the absolute pleasure of showing off our beautiful city Melbourne to Andreas Beust, President of AICROS who was visiting from overseas. While they thoroughly enjoyed being tourists themselves, soaking up the sights and sounds, they also took the opportunity to introduce Andreas to many of our colleagues including Andrew Brockway, Kate Jeffrey and Nathan Elia at Kate’s inspirational thought leadership session: https://lnkd.in/ghy9QhZN as well as Karen Montgomery-Douglas, George Vlachos and Con Konstantopoulos from Akesa.

M2M is proud to be a part of AICROS the Association of International CROs, an official network of small to midsize CROs conducting international clinical trials providing clients with global solutions by local experts who have the agility to provide customized solutions. With Andreas's visit it was the perfect occasion to establish in-person connections, share industry insights and build the foundations for future collaborations.

Andreas stepped into the role of President at AICROS in September 2022, and has extensive experience working in clinical trials as the CEO at GCP-Service International. Andreas is driven to make clinical trials more accessible and still provide the highest quality local expertise on a global scale.

Last night Robin Hansen and Anne De Luca attended the 2023 Government of Victoria Export Award event at Government House to announce the winners with our communications manager, Catherine de Vaal.

We are so proud that M2M won the Small Business category, with Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC Governor of Victoria presenting Robin with the award, and the Minister for Economic Growth, Tim Pallas also spoke at the event.

The awards champion homegrown products and services on a global arena. It was such a special evening attended by some incredibly innovative and inspirational Victorian businesses. Congratulations to all of the finalists. The M2M team also really enjoyed taking a tour of some of the stunning rooms at Government House.

Recently our Australian based clinical operations team got together in Melbourne for a great day of strategy and bonding. The growth we have experienced over the last year has seen new team members join us, two brand new departments, and changing roles within the team to support and reflect this growth. We certainly had a lot to catch up on and celebrate, we even got to model the legendary M2M umbrellas!

We are so grateful to this team and the way everyone collaborates. As a multinational company we are spread across so many locations, so we understand the importance of communication and regular catch ups to stay connected, and while we fully embrace technology there is something truly special about meeting up in person.

Yesterday Robin Hansen and Anne De Luca attended Bio Connections Australia in Melbourne and caught up with lots of colleagues.

The insightful discussions included the challenges and pathways to success in Australia for clinical trials. An essential pathway that was highlighted during this session was working collaboratively with interstate partners to demonstrate the country's strengths in research and development, encouraging global pharma to invest in Australia. Another discussion was the need to promote Australia’s capacity to bring molecules to commercialization.

Robin’s quote of the day was from Hugh Alsop on leadership about surrounding yourself with smart people — if you’re the smartest person in the room, you have the wrong team!
