On the weekend we celebrated an incredible milestone for one of our longest-standing participants, Richard, who has been part of the WRAP Basketball community for an amazing 25 years!

From game days, friendships, and countless memorable moments, Richard has been a shining example of commitment, teamwork and the true spirit of WRAP.

Last Friday night we celebrated our WRAP Basketball end-of-season party with an awesome night at ten pin bowling!

From friendly competition to plenty of laughs, everyone had such a great time together.

Getting into the Christmas Spirit 🎅

We spend a lot of time out in the community with our participants each week—whether it’s a trip to the shops, grabbing some groceries, or finding a fun activity for the day.

Right now, the local shopping centres are coming alive with Christmas decorations, festive displays, and even visits from the big man himself!

We provide the foundation for people to help them achieve their goals and empower them to lead dignified lives.

At the YMCA we aim to:


  • Empower people with a disability to access a large spectrum of inclusive and innovative programs, allowing them to exercise preferred choice and contribute to the ongoing development of the program

  • Continue to employ a high quality, experienced and innovative team that are invested in the delivery of excellent support and advocacy for people with a disability
