One of my biggest methods for training and staying committed is booking myself into something. Something meaningful. Whether it’s a marathon, a half marathon, a walk, Hyrox, or whatever that looks like for you.
Committing to an event means showing up consistently. You *have* to train, and that keeps me motivated. It gives the training purpose.
I also love doing it with friends. I’ve always tried to sign up with someone because training together makes it so much more enjoyable for the body, the mind, and overall health. Everything feels better when you’re not doing it alone.
So come along with me on this journey. Find your marathon. Find your “one.”
For me, it all started 12 years ago… and this year, it’s the Queensland 42km marathon for me together with my friend and the person this adventure started with 💙🏃♀️✨
