Zeus, a beautiful and gentle South African Boerboel, was brought into the newly opened Portside Vet Care in Port Melbourne needing a TPLO. The brilliant team there got Roaming Vet Surgeons in to work on the very successful surgery together. We look forward to working together on more surgeries going forward.

Meet Toby from ❤️

This sweet little boy sustained a fracture in his left front limb. The wonderful team from (FFAR) got to work immediately, finding him a foster carer and a clinic that would repair his broken leg.

FFAR reached out to us at Roaming Vet surgeons to help assist with his surgery. After discussions with one of our most generous clinics, .vetclinic put their hands up to help Toby.

Thank you to and .vetclinic for all the work that they do for our community. The process was so smooth, efficient and the compassion for animals was evident with all those involved ❤️.

Please check out and donate to a cause where the money you donate is truly felt and seen by those in need.

We wish Toby all the best for his recovery!

Meet the wonderful Angus ❤️

Angus is a 7mo rescue bull terrier who presented to us for chronic ear infections due to an abnormal right ear. Unfortunately Angus had his ear damaged as a very young pup when he was born. He was left with only a small remnant of cartilage (pinna) and a significantly stenotic entry to his ear canal. This resulted in chronic ear infections while also making it difficult to apply topical ear medications to treat him.

Dr Tracy performed a Lateral Wall resection to open up the ear canal. This improves airflow and ventilation to the ear while also making it easier apply medications to treat his ear infections. One of the rare circumstances where a lateral wall resection is indicated.

See the before and after pictures! ❤️
Thankyou to the excellent team . Always a joy working with them.
Please check out the amazing work that do. They have given Angus a second chance and a new lease on life.

We wish Angus all the best in his new forever home!

The adorable Lewis!

Lewis is a 2yo French bulldog that came to us from Guardian angels animal rescue in urgent need of upper airway surgery(BOAS).

Lewis had significant stertour and would struggle within 2-5 minutes of exercise. He was regularly regurgitating several times a day.
We were lucky enough to be able to help Lewis get a new lease on life! Watch the before and after videos of his breathing following BOAS surgery where we performed bilateral tonsillectomy, laryngeal saccule removal, folded flap palatoplasty and an alarvestibuloplasty.

We wish Lewis all the best in finding his forever home. Thankyou to the amazing team at Avondale heights vet clinic and his amazing foster carer Kelly!

*All rescues receive a discount to help ease the financial burden.

Tibial Crest Avulsion.
Annnnnnnddd we're back with another fracture!

Introducing the sweetest patient of the week Choppa! ❤️ Choppa presented to us with a tibial crest avulsion following a traumatic injury after jumping. Surgical fixation is reccomended to ensure a quick return to activity. Fixation is best done with crossing k wires and a Tension band fixation, this type of repair aims to mitigate the pull from the quadriceps mechanism and allow rapid bone healing.
We are pleased to hear Choppa is managing well after surgery and we wish him all the best for his recovery. ❤️ 11/10 good boy.
