The 'not-for-profit' Australian Camps Association (ACA) is the national peak body for camps and associated providers. We strongly believe that participation in supported outdoor experiences through camps and led adventure activities leads to happier and healthier lives.
The ACA develops, supports and promotes the delivery of camp experiences that provide positive community, social and personal outcomes.

The Australian Camps Association was formed in 2005 through the amalgamation of the Camping Associations of Victoria, Tasmania, South Australian and Queensland. Today we provide support, resources, business development and professional development to well over 240 members located throughout Australia.
What is a camp? It can be two things â the experience of âgoing on campâ (which can take place wherever there is a suitable venue offering group accommodation), and also the actual physical venue that hosts the group itself. Note that the Australian Camps Association represents camps rather than camping â which is a more informal activity usually involving tents, caravans, etc.
