Every session starts with a conversation at Upwey Acupuncture. Sometimes there is laughter - sometimes there are tears. Generally everyone leaves with a smile on their face :)

I want my patients to feel properly heard and able to discuss all of their health concerns, so your initial treatment may involve a long chat, and follow up treatments a check in or pivot chat depending on how your issues are resolving or transforming.

Evening appointments are available at Upwey Acupuncture on a Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. These sessions are extremely popular, so if you want to book a cozy evening relax on the couch please book well in advance.

You have my full attention during your sessions at Upwey Acupuncture. I always allow enough time in my sessions to fully listen to patients and discuss any issues or health concerns. I aim to ensure that you will never feel rushed or dismissed during a session.

When you relax on my couch I am not running off to treat other patients - I am still thinking about you and working on your case. When the needles come out there is usually time for massage, moxa, cupping, or whatever will enhance your treatment.

The way that I work has evolved over my 22 years of clinical practice and I always work with each patients best interests as my absolute priority. 💕

To celebrate 21 years in practice I’m rebranding 🥳 This is the new logo for Upwey Acupuncture.

I wanted to create a logo that reflected:

• the feeling and geographic location of the clinic;
• the view from the treatment couch;
• the connection to nature and plants that I use in my work.

My previous logo was designed by a friend when I finished my training in 2003 and I didn’t think it now accurately reflected the image of Upwey Acupuncture.

So this is the new and improved logo - the unfurling frond representing potential and growth, the hill on which I do my work, and of course who doesn’t love a spiral and a fractal? 😉
