Reflecting on receiving the Impact in Health & Wellbeing award from and .com.au at this year’s International Women’s Day celebration.

It was an evening surrounded by extraordinary women doing meaningful work across so many industries. Their stories, leadership and courage were incredibly inspiring.

My work focuses on supporting women with complex health challenges, particularly in areas such as hormonal health, fertility and conditions like PCOS. The women I work with every day are the true motivation behind this mission.

This recognition reflects the people who have shaped the journey — the unwavering support of my family, the powerful example set by my mother, and the trust of the clients I have the privilege of supporting.

Grateful to be part of a community of women who continue to lead, create impact and open doors for others.

Honoured to receive the Impact in Health & Wellbeing Award while celebrating International Women’s Day and this year’s theme, Balancing the Scales.

Thank you to the .com.au and European Women in Business for this recognition

My work is dedicated to supporting women navigating complex and often overlooked areas of women’s health, including Polycystic O***y Syndrome, Endometriosis and infertility. These are conditions that affect millions of women, yet remain under-researched and frequently misunderstood.

Advocating for better care, education and support for women in this space is deeply meaningful to me.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the women making an impact in their own fields.

Advice on how to "manage", "treat" and "heal" PCOS is easy to come by online, but experts say a more personalised approach is usually what's needed.

Thank you to and .migs for the opportunity to contribute to an article exploring the complexity and misinformation surrounding PCOS and nutrition, and the challenge many women face navigating online health information.

Dr Pav Nanayakkara, Associate Professor and Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgeon at , highlights the importance of evidence-based PCOS care and education, and that PCOS is a lifelong condition.

In my contribution, I address common myths and explain why oversimplified “cures” can be misleading. I emphasise that effective PCOS management requires individualised nutrition support, tailored to a person’s symptoms, goals and life stage. My comments appear in the middle of the article.

This piece reinforces the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, where medical and nutrition care work together to achieve the best outcomes.

BUT the biggest win comes from regularly eating seeds, not doing it perfectly!

Focus on what you can sustain.
Your hormones love consistency.

Save this if seeds haven’t been on your radar 👀

Snacks can either work for your fertility… or quietly work against it 🤍
When you’re trying to conceive (especially with PCOS or hormone imbalances), snacks aren’t just about curbing hunger — they’re an opportunity to:
✔ support egg quality
✔ keep blood sugars steady
✔ reduce inflammation
✔ support implantation
The key? Pairing carbohydrates with protein, healthy fats and fibre — not skipping snacks or living on ultra-processed “quick fixes”.
These are a few of my go-to fertility-friendly snack ideas I use with clients every day.
Simple. Real food. Actually sustainable.
Save this for later 💗
