The preciousness of the Pink Super Moon... the moon of the Magdalene in all her grace and all her power...

In the north she is the moon that rises in the portal of Spring Equinox and the one who shines down on the world in the lead up to Easter... which regardless of how we choose to relate to it, ultimately unites us through the symbol of resurrection... rebirth... new beginnings... new ways of being... a new way of life...

It is said that this moon gets her name from the wild flower, ground phlox, that blankets the well hydrated earth at this time of year with light pink buds that gradually turn to green under the process of photosynthesis, generated by the slow and steady warmth of the sun...

This year she falls in the powerful sign of Libra the caller of balance and harmony...

The Magdalene... sacred women of the earth, who was committed to love through the sacred journey of the beloved found within and without... whose light never left her, even in her darkest moments... the one whose essence lives on within each and everyone of us to this day... if we chose to remember...

As we move through the portal into a new decade...I pray for this with all my heart... I pray that we see that there is no separation between each and everyone of us and this precious earth... every interaction we have... every action we choose... every word that we share... makes a difference to the whole... it’s only together we can turn this around...

The Winter Solstice... that beautiful time when everything we have been weaving within, dreaming about and hoping for comes into its final gestation period... as we move towards the light and begin to prepare and birth the next phase of our journey...

The sacred time when the heart of the mother/goddess of creation starts to prepare for the birthing process of new life... new beginnings... new fruits once again...
