Having returned from a very busy trip to Kosovo, Turkey and Jordan, I have returned to Australia to be already reminded several times that our healthcare system is inadequate, and could be significantly improved with a big dose of commonsense!
Firstly - the testicles of young boys are able to "bounce" in and out of the sc***um - this phenomenon is called "retractile" te**es - it is not a diagnosis it is a description of normal. Performing an ultrasound will cause the testicle to bounce up - therefore is likely to give mis-information.
The commonsense messages is that te**es are called "balls", because they bounce - a problem only exists if the te**es don't bounce INTO the sc***um, but not if they bounce in and out of the sc***um.
I post another porblem later.
