We know that our communities have numerous needs, some of them complex, but all are addressable by delivering services close to home, in a culturally relevant way, and that keeps them out of the hospital or other high-acuity services. Through a single point of contact, individuals can connect to a full spectrum of care and support. We provide a diverse range of services to the community including General Medical and Dental Services, Home-based Aged Care, Family Services case management, Alcohol and Drug counselling, Gambler’s Help counselling, Generalist counselling, Financial Counselling, Acquired Brain Injury case management and community-based recreational programs, Allied health therapy services, and Health Promotion. For referrals and intake please contact: 1300 472 432

IPC Health complies with a range of healthcare standards and is accredited accordingly by Quality, Innovation, Performance (QIP). We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we are located and we pay our respects to them, their culture, and their Elders past and present. IPC Health values diversity and is committed to creating safe, supportive and welcoming services to diverse populations, including, but not limited to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI Individuals); people of all abilities; people experiencing health inequities; and culturally and linguistically diverse individuals.

🌱✨ Today we celebrated a healthier future in St Albans!

Students at Holy Eucharist Primary School planted a mandarin tree to mark their first milestone in the Vic Kids Eat Well program, supported locally by IPC Health.

Through the school’s “Refreshing the Fridge” project, sugary drinks and red-coded snacks have been swapped for healthier options. The mandarin tree is a living reminder of their commitment to making better choices – providing fresh fruit, shade and a greener schoolyard for years to come. 🍊💚

We were proud to join the school community, together with Mayor Thuy Dang (Brimbank), Cr Duyen Anh Pham (St Albans East Ward), and our CEO Jayne Nelson – alongside teachers, students and families – to celebrate this special milestone.

Minister Natalie Suleyman MP also visited the school yesterday to recognise and celebrate this important achievement with the community.

👏 Congratulations to Holy Eucharist Primary School on leading the way – a wonderful example of how community partnerships can help create healthier environments where children can grow, learn and be well for life.

Rachel and Adam’s Story: Why community health funding matters 🌟

Rachel and Adam Huntly finally found the support their family needed – all in one place. Their daughter, Trinity, was diagnosed with autism at Brimbank Melton Children’s Health and Wellbeing Local at IPC Health in Sunshine. Instead of juggling appointments across the city, they could access occupational therapy, referrals and family support under one roof – reducing stress and giving Trinity the best chance to thrive.

“Having everything under one roof has been a game-changer. We’re not running around to 50 different places anymore. It’s way less stressful and so much easier for our family,” Rachel Huntly.

Rachel and Adam are now backing Infrastructure Victoria's call for $150–$300 million in community health funding – because holistic, person-centred care should be accessible to every family to be well for life.

When western suburbs resident Rachel Huntly suspected her ten-year old daughter Trinity had autism, she felt overwhelmed at the thought of having to navigate the health system to get a diagnosis. Ms Huntly was already familiar with the challenges of accessing support when her eldest son received his...

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day 💜

Today, we remember and honour every life lost to overdose. Each story matters, and every life is too precious to lose.

At IPC Health, we also celebrate hope and resilience. Angie, a single mother and survivor of domestic violence, turned her life around with support from our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services. After a relapse, she returned to IPC Health and is now thriving once again, proof that timely, compassionate care saves lives.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. Reach out to IPC Health’s free, confidential support: 1300 472 432 or visit www.ipchealth.com.au

For 24/7 support, you can also contact DirectLine: 1800 888 236.

Let’s remember, support, and act. Because every life matters. 💜

Bringing some magic to Dental Health Week 🪄🦷✨

This year's Dental Health Week focused on the importance of children’s oral health milestones, educating parents and caregivers about what they need to do to help their kids “reach every S-milestone"

Staff and students from our Wyndham Vale, Hoppers Crossing and St Albans Dental Clinics bought some sparkle to s-milestones. Dressing up and using fun, interactive activities to teach practical skills and highlight the importance of oral health with some of our young clients. Check out some pics below!

🎓 What a day at the RMIT Student Volunteer Expo!

We had such a great time chatting with students who are keen to make a real difference in their communities through volunteering. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the IPC Health booth.

With Student Volunteer Week wrapping up, it’s the perfect time to shout out to all the incredible volunteers who help us create safe, welcoming spaces across Melbourne’s west. From greeting clients to supporting wellbeing programs (and even knitting for care!) – every role matters.

Celebrating National Student Volunteer Week
Meet Ganika Shree, a medical student who joined IPC Health in July as a Reception Concierge volunteer. Since day one, Ganika has been a fabulous asset to our team, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others.

We asked Ganika what inspires her to volunteer:
“I am inspired by the belief that small actions can create meaningful change. Volunteering has allowed me to connect with diverse communities, learn from their stories, and contribute to causes close to my heart. Knowing that my efforts can make someone’s life a little brighter motivates me to keep giving back.”

And her advice to anyone considering volunteering?

“Go for it! Volunteering is not just about giving your time, it’s about gaining experiences, friendships, and a sense of purpose. You’ll discover new perspectives, develop skills, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Every contribution, no matter how small, counts.”

💙 Thank you, Ganika, for your incredible contribution to IPC Health and our community.
