Spring time = run time!

It’s been a long winter and not least because my hips have needed a break from running. My exercise has been at a slower pace or in the gym. And I’ve loved the chance to mix up my routine. But I do love to get out and forget the world and run.

Strength training is where it is at mixed with a little cardio to give you this whack of benefits.

We wanted to highlight everything that you get as a result of training so that you also don’t get stuck in the tunnel vision of just chasing weight loss.

Yes, for most of us this is a goal, however your brain will fatigue with this as your sole focus. There is so much more to gain and it is all there ready for the taking!

I’ve loved working with my crew of older adults.
I’ll miss pushing them to work hard, get strong and be active. They’ll miss my stories and bad jokes!

This crew are possibly fitter and stronger than many in the general population. I’m proud to say I helped them with that.

Walking at a brisk pace for 30mins will see you meet your daily exercise quota. Most adults (and kids for that matter) don’t get their full daily exercise requirements. This includes cardio vascular and strength training exercise.
