Getting feedback like this makes all the hard work worthwhile! Tested and fitted this client with new hearing aids today as he had so much trouble hearing in all situations! And he hated his workcover funded hearing aids! Whilst doing real ear testing whilst fitting, he remarked “wow, never had this done before!” Incredible!

Face masks have become a necessity during the COVID-19 pandemic, but covered faces make communication difficult for people with hearing loss. Ida Institute and their partners including Soundfair and Better Hearing Australia have collaborated on a resource to help make communicating easier even through a physical barrier.
