CURRENT WAYS TO WORK WITH ME

As I play around with life with Margot & feeling the pull to work with clients again, this is how you can work with me.

I am expecting this will change/grow as the year goes on, but if you are interested in working with me, this is how.

Send me a message, I would love to chat about how I can help you ❤️

Here is a thread I thought I should share of what it sounds like when Mama’s aren’t supported.

They are often feeling depleted, anxious, burnt out, like they’re failing, exhausted…the list goes on

When did it become the norm for Mama’s to feel like this 🤷‍♀️

At times we can absolutely feel like this but when it is our constant state, we absolutely need support so that we can better support ourselves and our family.

I would love to know if you have felt like this at times during Post Partum ❤️❤️

If you feel like you need some support, I would LOVE to chat about how I can help you through these sometimes sticky times xx

Some little lessons and learnings I’ve been pondering as I’m coming up to 4 months of motherhood

I would love to know in the comments if you agree with any of these or if there’s anything else that you have learnt during your transition to Motherhood ❤️

I am just imagining the impact it would have on Mum’s, children & families if more support in Post Partum was the norm.
The flow on effect it would have in all aspects of life.
For Mum’s to feel deeply nourished & supported- both emotionally & physically.

For it to be the norm for Mum’s to ask for help but also for her village to rally around her as she goes through the biggest transition of her life.
For it to be the norm to invest money on support- rather than all of the latest and most expensive baby items (that are fleetingly used).
For it to be the norm to want to spend as much time cuddling your baby & spending time as a new family unit without all the interruptions.
For it to be the norm to eat nourishing foods to help replenish your body after you have just grown and birthed a baby.

How would that impact you for years to come?
❤️

The fog is lifting on the 4th trimester.

Margot has been the ultimate blessing and she has taught me so so much about life and myself already.

Now truly experiencing the transition to Motherhood, I get it.

I get that it changes people.
You are forced to find parts of yourself that you never knew existed.
You are learning so much every single day, alongside your baby.
You are seeing the world with a whole different lens.

It has been a wild ride getting here and the last 2 years have been HUGE but I am so grateful to everyone that has supported me and us along the way and I’m really excited to delve back into working with you and supporting you other MAMA’S soon 💕

I thought this photo deserved a spot on my feed and to share a handful of things I’ve learnt so far in motherhood to a nearly 12 week old 🙃

~ time actually is a thief (the days might feel slow but wow time actually flies)
~ it truly is the most difficult but BY FAR the most rewarding job I could ever imagine
~ trusting my intuition, my body and my baby have probably been my most beneficial tool
~ getting my b**b out in public does not bother me like I thought it possibly would haha
~ I have never googled so much in my life
~ be very conscious of who you ask for and take advice from (it can be amazing or it can actually be quite harmful in some cases)
~ creating a village of friends, family, professionals and whoever else you feel comfortable with to ask for support is SO important

I would love to know below what have been some learnings when becoming a Mum 💕

Our first full month of parenthood ❤️

After navigating everything that came along in 2024, flipping between grief and gratitude, it just feels so surreal that Margot is here.
She is such a blessing and being a Mum is honestly the best thing in the world, it feels like I’m becoming more and more myself.

Thankyou to everyone that has helped us so far and for all the love that has been sent our way.
We all love you MJ ❤️

A bit of a vulnerable share about some things on my mind through pregnancy after loss.

Firstly, I’m sending so much love to anyone on their fertility journey and to anyone navigating pregnancy after loss.
Something that none of us signed up for but I’m really hoping that by sharing more of this content, I will help someone feel a little bit less alone 🤍🤍🤍

How would you like to feel in your pregnancy, post partum and journey into motherhood?

Often jt can be overwhelming, filled with information, opinions and emotions that can be difficult to filter through.
Unfortunately feeling lonely, anxious and overwhelmed can be very common. I know all of this from first hand experience in both of my pregnancies but what has gotten me through is understanding what I need to support me and doing my best to have that set up!

This can look different for everyone but this time for me this has looked like a private midwife, a post partum doula, regular acupuncture appointments, reiki appointments, counselling appointments and joining a gym (for me this is a big deal haha)

I’m saying this because I think it’s so important to share the need for support from others both in your friends and family and in professionals!

In this case, I aim to bridge this gap between providing you support through education, strategies and planning through your pregnancy as well as feeling as though you have me to chat to and guide you through this time for whatever you feel you need.

By bringing together my own personal experience as well as my professional background in acupuncture, women’s health and birth/post partum (doula), I want to be able be there for you in your pregnancy!

This is why I’m offering virtual doula/coaching sessions in both a one off capacity and as a package to wholeheartedly support and guide you in your pregnancy ❤️

One off sessions $120
4 session package $450

If you are interested in individualised support no matter where you are in your pregnancy or post partum journey, I would love to support you!

Please hear me out.

While I think baby showers can be a beautiful celebration with friends and family,
I also think that money, time and energy can be often better spent on planning for your post partum experience and the huge transition into motherhood that you are about to journey though.

All the money that your friends and family are spending on your new baby (and let’s face it, even with a registry, it can still be filled with a lot of things we don’t need) can maybe be better spent.
Thinking about what your friends and family could possibly help you with in your post partum such as food or some help with house work can be a great alternative. Or even asking your close friends and family to instead buying things for baby, possibly pool some money together to get some food delivery services, a fortnightly cleaner, a lactation consultant, a massage voucher, a post partum doula or whatever else you feel like could support YOU!!

The key word here being YOU! The mother.

We want you, the mother to go into your post partum feeling the most supported, understood and nourished you possibly can so you can feel your best and look after and love on your little one as much as you can ❤️

As I said, I’m not saying that baby showers aren’t a beautiful celebration but I do urge you to consider what would be more supportive for you and your family in the longer term so your journey into motherhood can be the best it can be ###

I am finally feeling more myself after sitting with grief, understanding this new reality and living life.
A lesson that I’ve unfortunately learned and now relearned in my life is that sadness and grief can co exist with gratitude and happiness and that is okay, I think there is also so much beauty in that understanding.
That even through really hard times, life can also be amazing and this year has definitely taught me that.

I think reality is finally setting in that our rainbow baby girl is coming and I’m allowing in some level of excitement which comes with a range of other emotions.

The way I work with clients and the way I show up in the world has been forever changed and in a lot of ways I am grateful for that.
I am still figuring all of that out but I am feeling more and more myself and I know that working with clients and supporting them in pregnancy and post partum is absolutely where I want to be.

So Thankyou for sticking with me while I navigate through this new stage of life and allow some glimpses of excitement, relief and gratitude while we get closer to meeting baby girl and honouring our Charlie boy.

What an absolute rollercoaster this year has been ❤️
