Reinvigorated after a week in sunny Port Douglas. The buzz at this year’s AUSCRS conference was all about presbyopia correction, helping patients achieve good functional vision without glasses with as little side effects as possible.

Also got to try out the new ELITA femtosecond laser just launched in Australia for LASIK and lenticule based laser eye surgery. Never a better time now to get rid of glasses 😎

After two years of zoom conferences, it’s great to be finally back in person at the FOCUS 2022 symposium hosted by in Brisbane over the weekend. It was an amazing event for cataract and refractive surgeons to get together and discuss what we all enjoy doing - providing the best lens options to improve visual outcomes and satisfaction in our cataract patients.
