Meet Melissa Gottliebsen – Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Coordinator 💙

Melissa brings a lifetime of care, experience and strong local knowledge to her role as CHSP Coordinator. She has spent her entire career in healthcare, including 20 years working in the disability sector, before moving into women’s health, physiotherapy and audiology.

Melissa has previously worked as a CHSP Coordinator and loved the role. She enjoys supporting older people, taking the time to listen, and making sure each person feels cared for, understood and respected. Helping people stay independent and supported in their own homes is what motivates her most.

A Bayswater local for more than 35 years, Melissa knows the community well. She is also a proud mum of four and values the importance of strong family and community connections.

At work, Melissa is professional, organised and caring but she also believes that laughter is an important part of a great workplace. Once you get to know her, you’ll quickly see the warmth, humour and positive energy she brings to the team.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys going to the gym and Pilates, helping her stay active and balanced.

We’re very happy to welcome Melissa to the team.

🎁💖 Spreading Festive Cheer! 🎄✨

On this Christmas Eve, our wonderful TTHA team filled our halls with warmth, smiles and festive spirit. Carrying specially made gifts, our team walked through the halls to personally share a little Christmas joy with each of our residents - creating moments of connection, kindness and celebration along the way.

It was a truly heart-warming reminder of the care, compassion and community that make our homes so special, especially at this time of year.

From all of us at Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged, we wish our residents and their families the merriest of Christmases, filled with love, peace and happiness. 🎅🎄✨

🎵 Sing, sway and smile – a wonderful morning at Kilsyth!

Our Social Support Group had a fantastic time at Morning Melodies in Kilsyth, tapping toes and singing along to all the classics. The performers had everyone smiling, clapping and even dancing in their seats! 💃🕺

What a wonderful day we spent on Tuesday 16th December celebrating our incredible carers, volunteers and residents 💛

With a stunning summer backdrop, a delicious 3-course festive menu, an uplifting carols singalong from the Immergruen Choir and an incredibly meaningful award ceremony, our TTHA Carers & Volunteers Christmas Lunch at the stunning Hubert Estate truly honoured the contributions of our carers, volunteers and residents.

Our special day was also filled with laughter, connection and a lot of festive fun – and we were truly humbled by the wonderful feedback shared by guests, many describing the event as “a wonderful day in a stunning setting”, “incredibly welcoming” and “a very special outing to be a part of”. 📸 Here’s a small selection of beautiful memories captured on the day.
