Sleep right tonight

Sleep right tonight Certified Baby and toddler Sleep Consultant, Midwife and Mother I'm excited about helping your family begin their journey to a full night's sleep!

As a mother of three young children, I remember all too well that overwhelming feeling of a baby that doesn't sleep well. At some time we've all had that dreaded feeling of 'how am I going to do this, and when will I sleep again?"
I have a Bachelor of Nursing, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery. For over 18 years I have worked as a midwife in both public and private Hospitals. After the Sleep Sense Program changed my family's life, I made it my ambition to help other families achieve that feeling of a great night's sleep. With so much growth and learning in the first years of life and the new challenges that each day presents, a personalised routine and sleep plan can make life so much more manageable. I customise different packages to suit the needs of your family, and offer invaluable follow-up support to keep you on track. Get in touch to start your journey to healthy sleep today.

Is your baby taking short naps? Here are a few tips for better sleep:
→ Watch Wake Windows: Keep an eye on the clock to prevent your baby from getting overtired and fussy.
→ Total Darkness: Use blackout blinds. A pitch-black room signals the brain that it is time to rest.
→ Predictable Routine: implement a nap and bedtime routine with a few calming steps, so baby knows what to expect when its sleep time.
→ Feed After Naps: Move feeds to when baby wakes up, rather than before sleep. This stops them from needing milk to doze off!
→ Consistency: Stick to the same sleep space and schedule as much as possible.
