Coming up on the 15th of May, the RSV vaccine will be available and government funded for people over 75, upon request, at our clinic!
The RSV vaccine is used to prevent RSV( Respiratory Syncytial Virus) , a highly infectious respiratory virus that can cause lung problems such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia. The vaccine is advised for people aged 75 years and older as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people aged 60 and over and pregnant women- although they receive a different version during pregnancy. Make sure to ask your doctor for information as soon as possible, and before booking an appointment check to see if we have it in stock.

Avoid the serious snots this year!! Flu injections have arrived. Make an appointment via our website or HOT DOC app. An optional nasal spray flu immunisation’FLUMIST’ is available on private prescription ( $45at chemists ) for 2-18 yr olds if they are needle phobic. Talk to one of our doctors about this option.

Is the cost of fuel keep you at home again? Almost like a COVID lockdown? Don't worry! Since 2020 we have Telehealth consultations available every day. Book via our website, the HOTDOC app or with our receptionist on the phone. A Medicare rebate is available if you are registered as one of our regular patients on MyMedicare or, if you have had a clinic appointment within the last 12 months. It's easy to sign up for MyMedicare on your MYGOV app or website.
