Free COMMUNITY CLASS this weekend!
with Harriet Renn
Sunday Mar 1 | 12.00–1.00pm
Free | All welcome

Join Estuary graduate Harriet for an open-hearted community class celebrating warmth, the change in season and intuitive movement.

Harriet sees yoga as a practice of connection - to self, others, and the moment - and an invitation to slow down and listen. Her teaching explores a balance of strength and release, awareness and ease. Off the mat, she tends to her garden and her team at work, drawing inspiration from life’s natural cycles, seasonality, and flow. As this class falls on the first day of Autumn, expect a flow that perfectly suits the time of year.

This class is part of our Community Class series, led by Estuary teacher training graduates and offered freely as a way of giving back to the wider community.

Everyone is welcome. No prior experience is needed.

She’s back! After a year of travelling, exploring, learning and soaking up new ideas from around the world, is back on the regular timetable at Estuary Yoga, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Lucy has always had a gift for crafting thoughtful, intelligent, beautifully-sequenced classes… and now she returns with fresh inspiration, new textures, and a deeper well of experience to share with our community.

Tomorrow night she’s kicking things off with her Sound, Yin and Massage workshop, a chance to dive into some of what she’s gathered over the past year.

And from Wednesday, she’s launching a brand new class: Harmony: Fascia Flow at 9.30am. Expect fluid movement, intelligent loading, spacious transitions, and that signature Lucy blend of poetry and creativity. A practice designed to nourish connective tissue, build resilient strength, and leave you feeling integrated and alive.

Booking links in bio.

If you’ve missed her, now’s your moment.
If you’ve never practised with her, you’re in for something special.

Let’s give her a big Estuary welcome home 💛

UNDERSTANDING ASANA: ARM BALANCES
Sunday Feb 22 | 2.00pm | 2hr
with Andrew & Bec .lean.yoga

Arm balances can feel elusive — not because they’re out of reach, but because they ask for clarity, patience, and trust in the process.

In this two-hour workshop, Andrew and Bec will guide you through the foundations of bent-arm balancing, beginning with a deep exploration of Chaturanga and translating that understanding into poses such as Crow, Side Crow, and Eight Angle. From there, we’ll build towards more complex shapes including Flying Pigeon and Koundinyasana, unpacking the mechanics of lift-off, alignment, and balance along the way.

Expect a supportive, step-by-step approach with drills to strengthen the core, stabilise the shoulders, and help you shift weight with greater ease. This is an opportunity to refine your understanding, build confidence, and explore what’s possible when technique and curiosity meet.

Week One of the February 4x4 Challenge done, and the board is filling up beautifully! This is what consistency looks like; do a little bit often to grease the groove, let the habits form and solidify. Love the energy and effort, three weeks to go! 💪

One of the qualities I keep returning to in practice is curiosity. Not pushing to achieve something, but showing up with a willingness to notice how the body feels today, what the breath is doing, what’s changed since last time.

Curiosity softens the edges. It gives us permission to explore without judgement, and to stay engaged even when things feel unfamiliar or imperfect.

If you’re curious about beginning — or beginning again — you’re very welcome. Our 2-week unlimited welcome pass is $40. Link in the bio, explore all our offerings.

Our 4×4 Challenge begins on Sunday! Four weeks of practising four times a week, not to push or perfect, but to explore what happens when practice becomes regular.

I’ve seen again and again how consistency changes the relationship we have with yoga. It builds familiarity, confidence, and a quieter kind of strength that carries well beyond the mat.

The challenge includes all regular classes, selected workshops, and a community gathering at the end — plus a prize draw with gifts from local businesses.

If you’ve been wanting a steady rhythm to support your practice, this is a beautiful place to start. February is the moment.

The first few weeks of the year have been a lovely reminder of why consistency matters more than intensity. It's been wonderful to reconnect with familiar yogis returning after a break, and to have new yogis stepping onto the mat for the very first time.

There’s something powerful about that early momentum — not rushing, not trying to do everything at once, just showing up and letting practice unfold. One class leads to another. Breath by breath, week by week.

It feels like a great start. And if you’ve begun, or are thinking about beginning again, my hope is you keep going. Gently, steadily, in a way that fits your life.

Our Welcome Pass is $40 for 2 weeks unlimited if you’d like to explore regular practice. Link in bio.
