Every year, millions of tonnes of plastic end up in our oceans, landfills, and natural environments — impacting wildlife, ecosystems, and future generations. But change is possible, and it starts with all of us.
At Sunrise2Sunrise, we’re committed to encouraging small, practical steps that make a big difference — choosing reusable items, reducing single-use plastics, recycling correctly, and supporting sustainable choices wherever we can.

We’ve officially transformed Lawrences outdoor space into a little paradise – complete with a trampoline for endless jumps, a chalkboard wall for creative masterpieces, and soft turf perfect for play and relaxation. 🏡💛
We can't wait to see how he utilises his new outdoor space!

They oversee daily operations, support staff, and work closely with participants and their families to ensure each home feels welcoming, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of those living there.
With their expertise and passion for advocacy, our Area Managers are dedicated to fostering positive outcomes, building strong team culture, and creating environments where participants can thrive.

📣 Free Code of Conduct Webinars – Supporting Safe, Quality Disability Practice
Calling all disability workers!
The Victorian Disability Worker Commision is hosting a free online webinar series exploring key elements of the Disability Service Safeguards Code of Conduct — the standard that sets out how all disability workers must provide safe, quality services to people with disability in Victoria, no matter how you are funded.
🗓 Upcoming Sessions:
🔹 28 April – Element 3: Providing supports and services in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill
🔹 26 May – Element 5: Promptly raise and act on concerns that may impact the quality and safety of supports and services
🔹 23 June – Element 6: Taking all reasonable steps to prevent abuse, violence, harm, exploitation and neglect of people with disability 🌟
📍 These sessions are designed to help you understand and apply the Code in your everyday work — a great opportunity for professional development and strengthening safeguarding practices.

Meet our new Area Manager - Michelle!
Michelle brings over 15 years of experience in the disability sector, starting her journey as a support worker and growing her career across both day services and Supported Independent Living. This hands-on experience has given her a deep understanding of what participants need and what great support really looks like.
In recent years, Michelle has found her passion in leading and supporting teams who work with individuals with complex needs and dual disabilities. She takes great pride in helping staff feel confident, supported, and equipped to provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Michelle is all about creating positive environments where people feel valued, empowered, and able to achieve their goals—whether that’s participants or the staff she works alongside.
Outside of work, Michelle loves spending time with her family and caring for her two pet rabbits.

Tim had a great day out catching the train into the city 🚆
One of the highlights was stopping by Southern Cross Station to check out the giant Easter Bunny 🐰—a fun and festive surprise that definitely brought some smiles!

Sunrise2Sunrise Community Care is dedicated to professional delivery of our services following NDIS guidelines on reporting and reviewing health documents to maintain the highest level of care is realised.
Sunrise2Sunrise also offer an emergency 24 hour on call service, delivered in house to ensure that clients and support workers have direct accessibility to our range of services and support in an emergency.
