🥬🥔🥬🥗 Produce Cycle - Healthy and Sustainable Diet - Mediterranean Diet
Yesterday (May 9) we harvested produce grown by elementary school children in Viana do Alentejo. Healthy recipes were prepared and we gathered together at the table to round off the event.
This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Association of Schools of Viana do Alentejo (Agrupamento de Escolas de Viana do Alentejo), the producer Eugenia Romão and the Municipality of Viana do Alentejo. We would like to thank you for your commitment and participation; only your involvement made this activity possible.
This activity is part of the SAL - Semear e Alimentar Local project, organized by Terras Dentro - Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integrado with the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Alentejo Central, Monte Ace, Rota do Guadiana - ADI and Leadersor.
The project is co-financed by the National Rural Network RRN - A4 - “Area 4 - Observation of Agricultural and Rural Areas”, the Rural Development Program - 20.2 - Technical assistance. Action co-financed.

Terras Dentro organized several activities at the Dr. Isidoro de Sousa School in Viana do Alentejo as part of the Eco-Schools Program. Games and activities on environmental education, the Montado eco-system, the forest, the Mediterranean Diet and healthy and sustainable eating marked the morning of May 7 at this school.
