Melbourne Pregnancy and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Melbourne Pregnancy and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Your experts in Pregnancy and Pelvic Floor Physio across Melbournes North West Rebecca and Karina are passionate about what they do.

Melbourne Pregnancy and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy was created by Rebecca Liberatore and Karina Coffey who had a combined vision of creating a Specialist Pregnancy and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Clinic in Melbourne’s North West. Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy has high levels of evidence supporting treatment of pelvic floor disorders and yet, access to these services and knowledge that help is available is limited, meaning many still suffer in silence. Karina and Rebecca have a goal of spreading the word that these conditions are common but NOT normal and help is available. No one should have to put up with these incredibly debilitating and socially isolating conditions. Both Rebecca and Karina have extensive background working in large maternity hospitals and this acute hospital experience significantly enhances their work at Melbourne Pregnancy and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, providing a comprehensive understanding the acute presentation of patients immediately post-natal through the full continuum of recovery.

✨Meet Chloe✨

Chloe is passionate about helping people take control
of their pelvic health. After seeing so many patients,

• Bladder and bowel dysfunction
• Male pelvic health

Did you know over 50% of exercising women
experience urinary incontinence? It’s common, but it’s

✨ Meet Holly ✨

After her own positive experience as a pelvic health physio patient, Holly was inspired to support other women navigating symptoms that are often brushed off as “common” — but aren’t normal.

She’s passionate about helping women feel heard, supported, and confident getting back to the things they love — whether that’s running, sport, or simply moving pain-free.

With a strength & conditioning background and a special interest in return to running, pre & postnatal rehab, active women, and pelvic pain, Holly is all about strong, supported comebacks. 💪

Fun fact: She’s a runner, gym lover… and a proud cocker spaniel mum 🐾

Prevention is always more effective than pushing through pain 🤍

Prolonged feeding positions, rounded shoulders, and sustained load through the upper and lower back can gradually contribute to postnatal discomfort. Strategic positioning, appropriate support, and targeted strengthening can significantly reduce the risk of persistent pain.

Early intervention matters.

If your back pain is ongoing, MPPP provides comprehensive assessment and personalised treatment plans designed to restore comfort, strength, and long-term function.

Postnatal discomfort is common — but it is not something you need to simply accept.
