Fairfield Podiatry is looking for an experienced receptionist to join our reception team.

Why on earth would you want to work with feet all day? At Fairfield Podiatry, we focus on the person that the feet are attached to. Sore feet can stop people from living life on their terms. Our team work together to help people move freely and enjoy life. It's what gets us up in the morning!

Our reception team are the first point of contact for our loyal and valued clients. We rely on them to make everyone that walks into Fairfield Podiatry feel welcome and comfortable. Our reception team play a vital role in ensuring that our clients have an excellent experience.

The successful applicant will be required to work full-time/permanent part time from Monday to Friday.

The main tasks include greeting patients, managing phone calls, managing appointments, billing, ordering stock, cleaning/sterilising instruments, assisting with general administrative tasks and supporting our podiatry team.

The successful applicant will:
Be an experienced receptionist
Be friendly, caring and reliable
Have excellent customer service/communication skills
Be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Be a team player
Have well-developed Microsoft Office skills
Be computer savvy and ideally have experience using medical practice management software (e.g. Pracsuit Front Desk)

Some people seem to decide to work as a receptionist while they're trying to work out what they want to do for the rest of their lives. They seem to see it as a relatively cruisy job that they can learn quickly. This couldn't be further from the truth. We are looking for someone that knows that they enjoy being a receptionist and is confident that it's the career for them. We are looking for someone that brings energy and care to every interaction that they have. We are looking for someone that can improve the way we do things at Fairfield Podiatry.

Our children's podiatrist, Antoni Caserta, is running 80 km this October to raise funds for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum.

Antoni is raising funds so more Autistic Australians can access the life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services they need to create their own unique brilliance!
