Step Up with Claire I help mothers manage their young child’s school anxiety- boost confident and resilient learners. Early identification of learning problems is critical.

Claire is a strong advocate for children and works to ensure they get the best start in life. Once identified everything must be done to get the child's learning on an upward trajectory, matching that of their peers. It is imperative that young children lay strong foundations in literacy in their first 2-3 years of schooling so they can access the curriculum and build a successful learning profil

When we 𝒖𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 girls, we create stronger communities, healthier economies, and a brighter future for all. Yet, millions of girls still face significant barriers to education, safety, and opportunity.
This morning I attended the International Womens Day Breakfast- an important local event organised by Rotary. WE heard from three wonderful speakers including an inspiring Year 12 student.

Time for a self awareness check!
Check - Are you a mouth breather or a nose breather ?
If you are a mouth breather- it’s time to close you mouth and make a conscious effort to breath through your nose!

It will be life changing through health and well being enhancing .

Interestingly, ‘Breathe’ was our next book club book, and, I must say it didn’t grab my interest! However, now I am into it, I understand , appreciate and am so grateful to the person who recommended it.

It is essential reading for everyone !

Supermarket produce is bred for transport, not taste. It’s stripped of nutrients, often picked before ripe ( green bananas), coated in chemicals, and designed for mass production, not human nourishment.

Growing your own food isn’t just an act of self-sufficiency—it’s an alternative to a food system that prioritizes profits over quality.

I love my vege patch - it gives so many benefits - pleasure, mental health and wellbeing, achievement and success, fresh organic food picked at the peak of nutrition, saves money and so much more. I plant for the season for best results.

From Exhausted to Energized: My Juice Plus Journey

A few months ago, I felt stuck. My energy was low, my body wasn’t thriving, and I knew I wasn’t fueling myself the way I should. I tried to eat healthy, but life always got in the way—busy schedules, quick meals, and not enough time for what my body truly needed.

🍊It's not just an old wives tale!

🍊A recent analysis in BMC Public Health examined 15 comparisons from 10 trials on the effect of Vitamin C supplementation on common cold severity and duration. They found that Vitamin C is particularly important in reducing the duration of severe symptoms. 🍊
🍊'Complete' gives me 50% of my recommended daily intake of Vitamin C. A staple for me each day! No fuss, no bother.
By the way- no mouldy oranges in the bag!!

Lately, I’ve been reminding myself—health really is wealth. 💡💚

It’s so easy to get caught up in work, stress, and the daily grind, but at the end of the day, none of it matters if I’m not taking care of myself. So I’m making it a priority:
✔️ Eating better (still enjoying my favorites, though! 😋)
✔️ Moving more—even if it’s just a walk 🚶‍♂️
✔️ Getting enough sleep (okay, trying to 😆)
✔️ Protecting my peace & energy 🧘‍♀️

I’m feeling the difference, and honestly, it’s worth it. Just a little reminder for anyone who needs it—take care of you. Your body, mind, and future self will thank you. 💖

📚 Diving into History: Stories of Strength & Survival 📚

I’ve always been drawn to stories of resilience, and recently, I’ve been deepening my understanding of the Holocaust and the incredible strength of those who endured. I just finished Cilka’s Journey by Heather Morris—a heartbreaking yet inspiring story of survival against unimaginable odds.

Now, I’m starting The Twins of Auschwitz, an extraordinary true story of a young girl who survived Mengele’s horrific experiments. I know this will be another emotional read, but I believe these stories must be told, remembered, and honored.
