Yogamoves Melbourne At Yoga Moves we believe your health is the most important aspect of your life. The well being of every student is at the heart of everything we do.

The application of Shadow Yoga is the perfect introduction to the study of yoga. Practice of the forms of Shadow Yoga are designed to release obstructions, tensions and habits in the individual while cultivating strength and mindfulness. It detoxifies the blood and internal organs, improves the immune system, helps eliminate stress, enhances mental alertness and clarity, and reverses the degenerative process allowing us to live a longer life. As with other self cultivating arts, Shadow Yoga is taught in a course based format. This offers students a systematic, progressive, sequential understanding on which to build a solid yoga practice and a foundation for good health. The style is graceful, fluid and dynamic with equal emphasis on movement and breath. Yoga Moves is a Shadow Yoga School where dedicated teachers guide students to their full potential. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels. Yoga Moves offers holiday immersions as well as workshops with visiting teachers.

Autumn Term Break Offerings
One of the most beautiful elements of Shadow Yoga is that it ‘emphasises the connection between the physical body and the subtle energies’.
Two practices it employs to connect with these subtle energies are the Yogini-Nyasa-Vidim (including ‘using the fingers to awaken and balance the subtle energies in the body’) and rhythmic dance for self-cultivation.
