I thought a reminder of afew ways to help with changing the Monday woes to vibes!

1. Shrink your to do list
2. Romanticise the morning a little
3. Move your body - less scrolling
4. Do the easiest task first
5. Give yourself something to look forward to
6. Mondays don’t define you

Asking how you show up in your relationships and whether you could make any changes.

Asking what you need and whether you can give it to yourself

Checking in on your happy status! Feelings change but generally speaking are you able to say that you are happy

We are heading into another week of January! Are you wondering whether talking to someone could be helpful. Are you reflecting on the year that was, feeling stuck or overwhelmed???

Sometimes talking to someone who is neutral, offers space for you to lay it all out and respectfully sit with you without judgement means you can find that version of yourself that you have been searching for.

I am client centred, love listening to language to help reframe perspective and challenge you.

When working with Anxiety - there are many ways to work with it.

Here are 6 ways….

My favourite is number 1… it’s how we talk about it, if you can gain control and help the body and mind to notice that there is no threat and you’re safe - it will help calm you.
You can even try the ‘I am excited’ as the same flight-fight response is triggered but when you apply a different cognitive label based on context, you can shift from threat (anxiety) to opportunity (excitement).

Like anything, it’s not easy, but with awareness and practice you may see anxiety differently. Please note this is not talking about anxiety disorders, that requires more intervention.

Are you inspired by quotes? Do words help lift you, motivate you, drive you to action?

I love words, the impact they have. I can feel a difference when I hear lyrics or a quote or words that mean something.

My all time favourite is ‘It is what it is’, these words can sound dismissive but when you say it, it is saying it for what it is. These words ground me, helps me be present and see it for what it is.

I would love to know what your favourite quote or song lyrics are! I might even add them to a post 😀
