Do you need to exfoliate???

If there is one thing that EVERYONE should be using ~ it’s Retinol! Or a form of vitamin A that is appropriate for your skin type. Retinol being the most gentle, with the strongest being a prescription tretinoin. Here are some of my faves 🌼

Often clients come to us not really knowing what treatment they are after and not knowing the kinds of concerns we can address. And that is perfectly fine!

How can I help you? Easy. As a nurse who has post graduate studies in Cosmetic Nursing and a vast amount of experience in the industry, I like to take a holistic approach with my clients.

The most important aspect we will address first is the thing that is bugging you the most. Sometimes that’s not an easy answer, but sometimes it is.

Exciting treatment coming to VERSA Skin and Cosmetics!!

What is it?
Rejuran is classed as a “bio-regenerator” it is made of polynucleotides(PN), which are DNA fragments of a specific size derived from wild salmon.
Rejuran PN are slow-degrading DNA fragments, utilising DNA optimising technology.

The fragments stimulate regeneration and repair of damaged skin, which reduces unwanted inflammation. The result being the treated area looks younger and healthier, improving the physiology of the skin from the outside in.

What can it be used for?
PN are highly compatible with human skin. Treated areas include: forehead, temples, cheeks and periorbital.
Rejuran be used to treat: fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, improving texture and tone, increasing elasticity, sensitive and thin skin, dark eye circles and dull skin, saggy skin, acne scars and stretch marks.

How often is treatment needed?
initial 3 treatments at 2-4 weeks apart.
Maintenance every 6-12months.

What are the side effects?
It is may cause: injection marks or small bumps - which will subside in 1-2 days, minor redness or itching, minor flaking, dryness and peeling which may last several days.

Here is your reminder to wear sunscreen and reapply!

👀 The suns ultraviolet radiation (A and B) are extremely damaging to our skin.
UVA will pe*****te deep into the dermis and will cause long term damage, destroying collagen and contributing to sagging, wrinkles and pigmentation.
UVB damage is more obvious in that it causes sunburn; contributing to wrinkles, pigmentation, solar lentigos and solar keratosis, and the many different types of skin cancers.

😎 The SPF refers to the time it takes for your skin to go red out in the sun (in minutes), TIMES that by the number on the sunscreen ie 50, and that is how long your sunscreen will last, provided you applied correctly and depending on what you are doing. It obviously will not last as long if you are sweating or swimming. Which is why it is extremely important to re-apply regularly 🌞🤗
