A beautiful day out, Clarendon Grange residents enjoyed a special outing to the Olinda Tea House in the Dandenong Ranges, spending a relaxing time in the lovely surroundings of this much-loved venue and area.

Smiles filled the room as residents shared conversations, laughter, and time together over coffee and tea, along with delicious sweet treats including biscuits and cake. The warm atmosphere and wonderful company made the visit truly enjoyable.

It was a delightful experience, with plenty of smiles and special moments shared throughout the visit.

A wonderful day celebrating Homestyle Clarendon Grange Christmas Party! 🎄❤️

Residents, families and staff came together to share a festive lunch filled with great food, laughter and cherished moments. This yearly tradition brings so much joy to residents and their loved ones spending time together during the Christmas season.

A huge thank you to performer Steph Renouf for the amazing concert, and to Paul Johnstone for beautifully capturing the day.

The residents enjoy their fortnightly visits to the Knox Children & Family Centre (KCFC) in Bayswater. The residents are taking part in an intergenerational Program that brings together the residents and pre-school children with the purpose of creating relationships and strengthening bonds between the generations.

The residents enjoyed doing different activities with the children like play doh and painting water colours. One of the residents Norman used to be a Children’s Entertainer, performing at birthday parties and schools entertaining children. He loves to entertain the children dressing up as a clown and making them laugh playing his clarinet. It was a wonderful morning visiting the children leaving everyone with all the good feels.🫶😍❤️

The residents recently enjoyed visiting the historical Mont De Lancey Homestead located at Wandin North.

Residents and staff toured the Museum full of history, and the beautiful Homestead, with its furniture and exhibits still intact. Mont De Lancey is set amongst four aces of serene gardens, and the residents enjoyed a walk, taking in the gardens and natural landscape.

Afterwards the residents had lunch at the cafe on-site. It was such a lovely day out, and quite an educational experience for the residents learning some local history.

Homestyle Aged Care CEO Tim Humphries is taking part in the annual Vinnies CEO Sleepout on 19th June on the rooftop carpark at the South Melbourne market.

Joining hundreds of other CEO’s and businesses owners, as well as community and government leaders, Tim will sleep outdoors to raise awareness and help raise funds for the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness.

The funds raised help to provide immediate relief to people, like food and crisis accommodation, as well as supporting healthcare, education, employment and other critical support services essential to those facing homelessness.
