St. Andrew's First Aid Australia We provide Australia with the highest standards in First Aid skills, services, and volunteering opportunities. Together we save lives.

We believe people trapped in poverty in Australia should always have access to free or low cost first aid assistance. We recognize the importance of providing free first aid and first aid education to people trapped in poverty, vulnerable people and people with limited financial means. We assert the provision of free first aid services and assistance is provided in a cultural sensitive manner and is offered by us at the same time as reducing poverty and improving their health and wellbeing. We are committed to supporting and providing practical assistance to person’s in poverty and low incomes through the provision of first aid services and assistance.

It is with pleasure that St Andrew's First Aid Australia invite you to attend the inaugural Weary Dunlop oration on Saturday 19th August 2023. You can book using the link below

The oration will be held at the Kelvin Club (14-30 Melbourne Pl, Melbourne VIC 3000) at6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.

Dress: Black Tie/Ladies equivalent Or Mess Dress. (Civilian and Military decorations to be worn)

The oration will be provided by Major General Jeffrey Rosenfeld AC OBE (Retd) Jeffrey Rosenfeld is an internationally recognized neurosurgeon with extensive experience in senior healthcare, medical and research executive roles, and a distinguished and decorated career in the Australian Army. He is a retired Major General and a former Surgeon General, Australian Defence Force-Reserves. He has served on eight deployments to Rwanda, Iraq, Solomon Islands, Bougainville, and East Timor.

The oration is named after Colonel Sir Ernest Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop AC CMG OBE who served as the first Australian Parton to St Andrew’s First Aid Australia.

Best of luck to our Chair of Governors, Simon Abney-Hastings 15th Earl of Loudoun who has accepted the invitation by the Crown to perform the Bearer of the Golden Spurs role at the Coronation of King Charles III on the 6th of May 2023. Simon will be responsible for presenting the Great Golden Spurs to the new monarch, King Charles III

Australian Simon Abney-Hastings, who lives in north-east Victoria, is the 15th Earl of Loudoun – and, some historians believe, the rightful heir to the English throne.
