What a blast from the past! Lately, the team at The Fontan Registry have started our 'Spring Clean' early! Look what we have stumbled across.
The original works of The Fontan Registry's founder, Professor Yves d'Udekem!
Can anyone describe or explain what Yves was trying to teach here?
Not only a world class paediatric cardiac surgeon but Yves is an academic mentor, not only to those who work alongside him but also to his patients and families.
We want to take this opportunity to thank Yves for his ongoing contribution and care of patients with congenital heart disease.

Repost HeartKids! Next Friday on June 20, 2025, is the national Hero for HeartKids Day where we are encouraged to dress up as our favourite superheroes and raise funds for children with congenital or child-onset heart disease.
Whether you choose to dress up yourself or challenge your school or workplace to put on their capes, together we can raise awareness and vital funds to support the real HeartKids heroes. Please connect with HeartKids for more information.
