It’s no coincidence the Moon’s phases shift through a cycle of approximately 29.5 days… just like our very own 🩷

The feminine needs space to go within, to retreat, to be nurtured and nourished.

She needs space to recalibrate, to plan, to think about what’s next, to get ready.

She needs space to grow, to bloom and make it happen.

She needs space to thrive, to celebrate and to shine her light and allow her voice to be heard.

There are times when she needs to take up space and to be seen, validated and worshiped.

Then there are times she needs to gently come back down, to find her breath and pause.

Time to let go, to honour all that she’s been through and make space for the next phase.

Before she starts again.

Give her that space.

Your energy thrives on daily devotion, on intention and soulful living 🩷

Nourishing and protecting your energy really does require so much more than just a morning ritual.

It’s a conscious choice in how you nourish not only your energetic or spiritual body, but also your physical, emotional, mental and social wellbeing.

When one part of us is out of alignment, it affects other aspects of our life.

So when you’re not feeling like your best self, remember to include all parts of your self in your practices for nourishing and protecting your energy. Here are some@of my favourite prompts:

Am I connecting to Mother Nature and taking time to ground with her and return to my physical self?

Am I spending time doing things that I love with people I love?

Am I taking time regularly out of my day to listen to my heart, to really listen and to feel?

Am I listening to my body and moving it regularly in ways that feels good?

Does my home make me feel good?

Do I regularly feel like I’m living my truth?

Am I consuming nourishing food?

Do I know what I need and take space to honour my needs?

Do I have capacity?

Do I need help - from a friend, a mentor, my tools, practices resources?

What phase of my moon cycle or bleed am I in right now?

What else, outside of me, might be contributing to my energy right now?

What might I need to accept or let go of?

How can I show deeper self compassion?

Every day might not be perfect but there’s always a small shift you can make, just for today, to create more nourishing moments 🙌

Last month our book club choice was the classic Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. A book that many people are often drawn to on their journey of self discovery, because like us, the narrator is on a spiritual ‘adventure’.

Set in Peru, the fictional story follows the journey of uncovering 9 spiritual insights that include (without giving away too much) ideas around synchronicity and meaningful coincidences, understanding energy, trusting your intuition, purpose and the importance of having community and connection.

Although, I didn’t think the writing was necessarily a masterpiece, the insights and underlying messages certainly are.

A great book for anyone who is looking for a thought provoking story and especially well suited for anyone at the beginning of their journey or looking to reignite or revisit the ideas presented. It’s also just as suitable today as it was back in the 90s when it was first published, leaving readers feeling hopeful and uplifted 💫

In line with the Peru inspired journey of Celestine Prophecy, I’ve loved curling up on these cooler days with with a mug of Peruvian Ceremonial Cacao from .cacao 🙏 It’s the most delicious cacao I’ve ever had and the perfect companion for a book that invites such introspection 🥰

Spring is an invitation to bloom at your own pace.
A challenge not to focus on the outcomes, the results.
But to embrace the journey along the way.
Embody the shifts.
Integrate.
Learn.
Remember.
She goes at her own pace, Mother Nature.
Dancing to her own song.
Shifting and shaping along the way.
Allowing space for the joy and also the tears.
But never space for judgement.
She just is.
As are we.
And it’s all beauty.
It’s all just

It’s such a beautiful opportunity today to honour the birth of our Sensei (teacher) Mikao Usui - the founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho 🙏 the spiritual healing modality that has changed the lives of millions of people globally since 1922.

Each day, I am so grateful for this incredible gift, my practice and the opportunity to share it with others 🙌

Students of Usui Reiki will recognise these beautiful trees with exposed roots along the first floor of Mount Kurama - the birthplace of Usui Reiki Ryoho 💫 and I can’t wait to head back there next April with leading an amazing group of practitioners through a sacred 4-day Reiki tour where we will visit Mount Kurama as well as the birthplace of Sensei Usui, born on this day in 1865 🙏 forever grateful for his wisdom, compassion and dedication.

Although, sold out, we are working on opening up a few more spots so if you’re interested in coming along, get in touch 🩷

What I’m doing for Lion’s Gate…

I’m using a piece of paper and pen to write down what I’m manifesting as well as any doubts or fears that might come up.

I’m also using some Citrine to represent the gorgeous energy of Leo and the sun.

And a glass of water.

After writing down what I want, I’m folding up the paper and placing it underneath a glass of filtered water, placing the citrine around it on a window ledge or outside where it will receive the energy of the sun.

Then I’m sitting with the water and crystals, visualising my dreams while doing Reiki on the water. I’m setting a timer for 8 minutes and 8 seconds.

Once I’m done I’ll drink the water and say a little thank you 🙏 I’m also keeping the note and citrine in a little pouch for as long as I need - keep it with you or on an altar etc.

You can also get your partner, loved ones or kids involved too ☀️

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful things I get to witness when teaching an energy healing class is the moment a student lets go of trying to do Reiki or Crystal healing and realises that all they need to “be” is a channel for the Universe’s wisdom to work through them.

All they need to do is let go, to trust, and to hold space for the other person (and themselves) - simply by meeting them where they are, unconditionally, lovingly accepting them (and themselves) as they are right now.

Completely worthy of it all.

It’s that sacred moment when they both soften and move out of the way into the most beautiful space of reciprocity and light.

The space where “my light meets yours and we carry each other home.”

Healing doesn’t always show up as fireworks with a big bang event. In fact quite often it’s the small incremental changes youre making each day that add up to become lasting and sustainable transformation.

Keep showing up, honour your truth and what feels right. Celebrate the micro shifts.

And practice. It’s a practice because the more we do it, not only the more skilled we become and the deeper the experiences, but when we light up our inner world, our outer world reflects that 💫
