At this age teenagers actually are still developing their brains and there are certain chemicals and neurological pathways still being formed. πŸƒπŸ’œ Do you take weekends off eating well? I was until it hit me.... Every weekend I'd feel so crappy, it was so hard to get back on track every Monday. I thought I was 'giving myself a break' however what I was actually doing was not loving myself for two days of the week... Why? Because things were going too good? Because I was getting fit, healthy and happy? Perhaps... Reading talks a lot about the limit we put in how much happiness we allow into our lives. When we reach our limit 'unconsciously' we do something to pull us back before it gets out of our comfort zone! Crazy! But true! So now I'm spending weekends eating what feels good in my body not what I 'think' I should get to have! ✨✨✨

πŸƒ On this day I was feeling like crap... Photos do not tell the truth... They show the surface... I was not present... Look at this beautiful landscape... And I was in my head.... I couldn't shake it... I was also so sick I had to go home out of the cold... We all have these days... Even people that work on themselves, meditate, do affirmations, gratitudes etc! We still get triggered, and then we realize how irrelevant these thoughts are, we realize our Ego had taken control and we get back into our hearts! πŸ’œ What works for me is talking it out! I have to physically get it out of my body by speaking it to someone... If there is no one to speak to I will journal it out or talk it out to myself. I will mediate to find answers and guidance if I need it. I hope this helps comfort those who feel guilty for having crappy days and not being their best selves! These days use to happen a lot more frequently before I had a morning routine and a spiritual practice but the key now is to not beat myself up for the times they do! We all get tired, stressed, sick, angry, sad etc it is totally πŸ’―% normal! We just need to have a practice that we can go to that we know can help us out of the slump! Human beings are the only species on the planet that feels guilty. We are the only ones that replay a scenario over and over in our heads and make each other feel bad again and again about their past mistake. No other animal on earth does that. Just humans. We have the ability to go back and remember the past and replay it. We also have the ability not to. If you could choose to think of the past mistake or choose not to think of it what would you choose? What thoughts would you choose if you could? Why? Would those thoughts make you feel happy? Sad? Etc... What if I told you you do have a choice what you think? What would you choose to feel?πŸƒ

I learnt from the book such a truly fantastic book that teaches you to be aware of your 'upper limit' problem. It explains that we all have a limit on how much love, joy and abundance we allow into our lives. Why we put a limit on it and how we can go beyond our limiting behaviors! Are you ready? I am! πŸ™πŸ’œ
