Would you like to learn how to reduce stress and join our live tapping event?

Sometimes our emotions are the biggest cause of our nervous system dysregulation. Learning how to work through our emotions rather than suppressing them is such an invaluable part of our overall wellbeing.

EFT (tapping) is a great technique that can do just that. Best of all it's easy to learn and easy to do! It's an incredibly empowering and accessible tool.

Under the guidance of a trained facilitator, Clinical EFT has proven to relieve symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, pain and cravings.

It can stimulate the vagus nerve and calm the amygdala, promoting relaxation, decrease resting heart rate, blood pressure, reduce cortisol levels and inflammation, and improve concentration and cognitive function.

That's why we've invited you to join our live event to learn how to use EFT tapping.

Sunday 26th of November 4pm AWST/7pm EST, live on Zoom. Only $30. Book in with

🤗✨ What do you do when you're in your groove?

One of the best things for me since finding safety and stability is the energy and freedom to express my creativity!!!

Now that I'm not living in a state of hypervigilance and stress, I sleep better, feel healthier, and have more energy for the things that I love.

I'm no longer living in survival mode and sending all of my resources to finding safety. I'm not burnt out or worn down like before.

A challenging part of living through DV was feeling like I had lost myself by losing my connection to inspiration and creativity. It wasn't lost forever, but while I was in so much stress, I couldn't find the joy anymore. It was just one more thing crushing my spirit.

It took me some time to feel myself again. Each day I made a commitment to myself and to my healing. I moved towards the things that used to bring me joy and discovered new sources of connection.

To keep myself determined, I reminded myself that I am here to thrive, not simply survive. It reminded me to be accountable for my choices and to create the world I want for myself. I'm lucky enough to have the privilege to do that for myself now.

With my fundamental needs for safety and connection being met, I now have the energy to feel inspired and passionate again, and it's so exciting for me!!!

I can't wait to share with you the new projects I have underway!

✨ What do you do with your creative energy and inspiration?

💕 CLIENT LOVE 💕

“I have just finished an EFT session with Ash and I am feeling so serene and clear-minded. After a very troubling 6 months, I am holding a lot of physical and emotional tension and I can feel it softening and evaporating already.

Ash is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and this makes her guidance magical. Thank you Ash for holding space while I continue along my healing journey.”

✨ Hearing about the ways you're all growing and healing is what makes this work so rewarding for me. I absolutely love holding space for everyone to move through their emotions.

🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ Hands up if you're a recovering people pleaser too.

Are you still learning how to stay true to your "no"? Becoming more comfortable with disappointing people? For some of us, it's a lifelong practice of choosing yourself first 💕 I'm with you

People-pleasers are often seen as helpful and kind, but as Will realised at 28, being one has come at the expense of his identity and self-esteem.

📣 Say it with me, "I am safe, right here, right now!"

This is one of my most used phrases when tapping with clients. I even say it to myself when I sense anxiety in my body.

When you find yourself catastrophising or ruminating on painful memories, give yourself a hug and say "In this exact moment, I am safe in my body. I am safe, right here, right now!"

You will notice your body soften and your breath deepen.

Finding a sense of safety in the present moment is essential for your body to move into the relaxation response for healing and connection.

✨ Ever since I can remember, I have journalled.

As a kid, I wrote 'Dear Diary' entries and pretended to be cool just in case someone would read it. I shared my secrets and then tore the pages to ensure no one would ever see them.

As a young woman, I blogged my heart out, sharing my thoughts, values and experiences. I learned to care less about someone else reading. I was ready to sing my truth to the world. As I grew to appreciate my vulnerability, I realized not everyone had earned such openness from me.

Now my journalling is for me. I love journalling because I appreciate the intrinsic value of unadulterated self-expression.

I journal to get things out of my head and onto paper. Sometimes journalling acts as a sounding board, helping me to make sense of my experiences. Other times I spill my emotions onto the pages, allowing them to flow through me.

One of my favourite kinds of journalling is creation journalling. By focusing on gratitude and the things we are hopeful for, we can raise our moods and our sense of faith in everything turning out well. These exercises have helped me in my self-care and to overcome cycles of rumination.

By dedicating time to focus on positivity, we retrain our brains to have a more optimistic outlook and even begin to notice more of the positive things that happen in our world.

These three prompts supported me to turn around patterns of self-deprecation and pessimism. They got me through some trying times.

CW: Discussion of consent and assault

"The other thing we asked schools and teachers to sensitise themselves around is the possibility that we might have, in a classroom together, people who are both the perpetrators and those who've been victimised in the one room," she said

Teaching consent culture in schools is absolutely essential. In this work, I've found many adults who are still learning about consent and boundaries. The topic can be triggering as some people are reminded of times when the lack of consent was disregarded.

As friends, family and people in the community, how we support and respond to someone's emotions may determine how that person is able to process them. Our actions and words can be dismissive and invalidating. What traumatised people need most is connection and a sense of safety.

Become aware of the terms of phrase you use when you see someone experiencing emotions such as sadness or anger. Are you pushing them to get over it or just get on with things? Or are you allowing them the space to feel heard and seen?

For traumatised people, feeling safe to express themselves could make a world of difference.

Only minutes into a mandatory consent class at his school, Jack realised he had to leave. But he says he's most upset about what happened next.
