Fitness Adriana Adriana is an enthusiastic and energetic Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer. Her active life and PHILOSOPHY: Variety and constant challenge is the key!

Being a naturally active, creative and enthusiastic person, and after having gone through different job experiences, 2 years ago I took the right decision of turning my passion for Fitness into a formal way of living. There is nothing more satisfactory than training people from many different backgrounds to help them go through their own and specific Fitness Journey, to achieve their goals and find new ones! MY MISSION: To never stop discovering new passions, achieve the right balance between a healthy mind and a functional body, and to enjoy every step up and every step down all along this beautiful way! Even though mastering certain moves or exercises is important, our muscles need to be challenged in different ways to achieve their maximum potential. Meanwhile, the mind needs small goals and challenges all along the way to keep the interest and to feel accomplishment, enjoying every step of the journey! This mix (spiced with a bit of fun) is what I do for my clients and during my own training.

I remember clearly the first time I heard this phrase: it was during a yoga class, I was attempting to perform a standing vine where my standing leg was reaaaally cramping (and surely not letting me hold). Our instructor said these wise words and I was astonished when I chose to switch my focus from the pain and frustration, to brace my body tightly and breath through the exercise.

I can't say it wasn't uncomfortable anymore. All I know is that I stood standing, on one leg, focused and somewhat proud of that little achievement. Next time, it was not only a little easier, but I was also a little stronger.

And that guys, applies to everything. πŸ’•

Becoming a mum made me simplify things that I used to (probably) overcomplicate before that. My cleaningless, my minute-by-minute agenda, my unflexible level of organisation...

And a big one has been my way of eating too! Counting calories, measuring portions and macro intakes through an app is something that I did for a few years of my life.

And by all means I do not regret it at all! It did not only teach me lots of valuable information about the foods I eat the most, but it was also a priority I had at that particular stage of my life and that's all made me who I am today.

However, priorities change and the day has only the same 24 hours!! So you gotta chose wisely how to spend them, and if anything has to go... let it be that.

Nowadays, my meals look (almost) the same as a couple of years ago but it's turned into a completely intuitive style of eating. Wish I absolutely love!

Sticking to the same old principles I used to live by: I prioritise a quality source of protein, add a yummy form of complex carbs, a portion of healthy fats and lots of vegetables to make it colorful.

How many calories do you see in here? Who knows! I do know it makes happy, keeps me healthy and it covers my daily needs to be who I want to be today. 😍

FULL BODY CIRCUIT β€” Core focus πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

This time I got creative, so you'll need a mat, a suspension trainer and Pilates balls!

Γ—10-15 combos with light to moderate load
15-30 sec rest or as little as possible
Γ—2-3 rounds each circuit

▫️CIRCUIT 1:
A) Tippy lunges, left leg.
B) Tippy lunges, right leg.
C) WIde to narrow grip body row.
D) Oblique crunch to bicycle crunch.

▫️CIRCUIT 2:
A) Pistol squat, left leg.
B) Pistol squat, right leg.
C) Push up to knee tucks.
D) Toe taps to crucifix.

[[ Mango & Apple salad ]]

Because we can't get enough of these days, what about bringing next time a fresh, colourful and a little sweet delicious ?

WHAT DO WE NEED?
~1/2 , chopped into small cubes πŸ₯­
~1 small red , chopped into small cubes 🍎
~1 bunch of mint leaves
~1 cup mixed salad bag πŸ₯¬ ( , and grated and )
~1 cup iceberg , for extra crunchiness πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

For the dressing:
~1/2 cup greek πŸ₯›
~1 tbspn 🍯
~Juice from one πŸ‹

METHOD:
1. Simply mix all the dressing ingredients together. Taste and add a bit of salt, if you wish.
2. Pour the dressing onto your salad ingredients and mix thoroughly right before serving.
3. DONE & ENJOY!! πŸ˜‰
