Matt’s favourite piece of equipment at the clinic?🤩

⚙️The cable machine⚙️

Why?🤔

Lots of the machines we use when we train aren’t functional, and use our bodies in ways that aren’t necessarily “natural”. Take the leg press or chest press for example - these aren’t movements that our ancestors would’ve been practicing on the regular! The cable machine promotes natural movements - pushing, pulling - but weighted. This way, we can strengthen our muscles by adding weights to the movements that are part of everyday life💪
