🌍 International Day of Persons with Disabilities – December 3rd 💜

Yesterday we acknowledged a day that means so much to us at The Support Squad.

This day is all about promoting inclusion, recognising the strengths and contributions of people with disabilities and continuing the push toward accessible and supportive communities for everyone.

At The Support Squad, this isn’t something we celebrate once a year. It’s something we live every single day.

We’re proud to support individuals of all abilities and to stand beside families as we work together to create meaningful, empowered lives.

On Friday night we held our staff Christmas party and it was such a beautiful reminder of how lucky we are to have a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

We’re so proud of the supportive, caring and positive environment our staff create. Not just for each other, but for every client and participant they work with throughout the year. ❤️

There was plenty of laughter (our Stealing Santa game was a hit! 😂) and it was lovely to celebrate the end of another big year with the people who make our services what they are.

A huge thank you to our team for the incredible work they do and thank you — our community — for trusting us to support you or your loved ones. We truly value every family we work with.

Wishing everyone a safe, happy and joyful holiday season. ✨
