The new Competencies for psychologists are effective as of December 1 and in keeping with Competency 7 (Demonstrates a health equity
and human rights approach when working with people from diverse groups) we felt it necessary to explore and celebrate the cultural backgrounds within our team!

Olivia and Jane had A LOT of fun setting up and facilitating our first Leap into Prep school readiness session this morning! There were some very happy kiddos - some of whom didn’t want to leave at the end 🙊 💛
We can’t wait to see our little pre-preps again next week!

✨ Say hello to Olivia Down, provisional psychologist at NCCD!

Olivia is completing her Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) at the University of Melbourne. She brings experience from the Department of Education, schools, and private settings – working with children and teens with ADHD, autism, learning difficulties and emotional regulation challenges.

Creative, compassionate and highly capable, Olivia works under close supervision to deliver warm, evidence-based care.
