Just as the moon waxes, this cycle is alive in plants, animals and tides. Some who work in human services (emergency departments, education, helping humans) notice a crescendo of activity around the full moon.
34 years ago, when I was living off grid in Ireland I met an artist, Jerry Hoad, who used the waxing half of the moon cycle to create new projects, and the waning half of the moon cycle to varnish, edit and touch up his paintings.
Currently the moon is waxing gibbous, nearly full, and my hands today wanted to create what’s been in my mind’s eye for a cycle or two. This rafia bowl is taking shape quickly, and feels so good to touch.
What are you noticing growing at the moment?
