Krishna came to us after three years of severe chronic pain that had completely taken over her body and her life. She was dealing with constant inflammation, nerve pain, swelling, and symptoms that had left her unable to work and struggling with even the most basic movements. Her hands were so swollen she couldn’t open or close them, her feet had become so inflamed she had gone up two shoe sizes, and the nerve sensitivity was so intense that something as small as a grain of sand felt unbearable.‼️

This was her second time at the centre, but this experience was entirely different.

By day four of her fast, she was completely pain free.🌱
Not slightly improved, not managing symptoms — completely pain free.

Her hands began to move again. The swelling reduced. The nerve pain that had been running through her body stopped. Her feet returned to their normal size, her skin calmed, and she could move her toes again after being unable to for years. She walked barefoot comfortably, something that would have been impossible before she arrived.

There was a moment that really captured the depth of her transformation. She had been wearing a bracelet for three years that she physically couldn’t remove because of the swelling in her hands. After the inflammation went down, it simply slipped off. A small moment, but one that said everything about how much her body had changed.🙏

What we also saw was a shift in her energy and her outlook. She went from living in survival mode to feeling excited about her life again. She’s now planning to return to work, exploring new directions, and even training for an open water swim — things that felt completely out of reach not long ago.

Her body didn’t fail her. It had been asking for the right situation, the right tools, the right support for a long time.

When those conditions are finally in place, the body responds in ways that can be hard to comprehend until you witness it. We are SO incredibly proud of you Krishna, and everything you moved through to get here.💫

Witnessing your transformation was truly a blessing, and just reconfirms the power of fasting 💙

You think you’re resting.

But your nervous system disagrees.
📱 Scrolling
📺 TV
🎧 Constant input
To your body, this isn’t rest — it’s stimulation.

Here’s why👇

Blue light from screens & phones suppresses melatonin 🌓
→ delays sleep onset
→ shifts your circadian rhythm later
→ reduces sleep depth and quality

At the same time, you’re feeding dopamine ⚡
→ constant novelty
→ rapid reward cycles
→ reduced tolerance for stillness

So when you finally try to stop…
your brain doesn’t know how.

And your nervous system stays slightly activated —
not fully stressed, but not fully settled either.
This is where most people live.
Tired… but wired.

😴 You sleep, but don’t feel restored
🧠 Your mind keeps running
⚡ Your system never fully powers down

Because true rest isn’t just “not working.”
It’s a physiological state.
One where the parasympathetic nervous system takes over 🌿
→ heart rate slows
→ cortisol drops
→ digestion and repair processes resume

And that only happens with:
📖 low stimulation
🌅 natural light cycles
🤍 presence instead of input
🌙 real wind-down before sleep

Not more content.
Not more distraction.

Stillness is not something most people are used to anymore.
But it’s often the exact state the body has been trying to return to.⚖️

This Sunday, something BIG is coming.‼️🎉💰

It’s been over two years since we’ve done this.

We don’t open this up often.
And when we do, it doesn’t last.⚡

Last time, every place was taken quickly.
Not something people sat on.
Not something people missed.

And this Sunday, it’s back.💥

If you’ve been thinking about coming to the Centre — this is your moment!🤩

You won’t want to miss this. 👀
Can you guess what it is?🫢

More details Sunday night.💫💙

TEGAN💙

Tegan came to us after a long stretch of feeling unwell in her own body. Pain had become part of her normal, continually passed around the medical system without real answers.and with that came the frustration of not feeling properly understood or supported in what she was going through.

What we noticed straight away was her attitude. Even with everything she had been dealing with, she arrived open, willing, and ready to meet the experience fully. Not passively, but with a kind of quiet determination that she was going to see this through.

When she got to her room, it all caught up with her. She became emotional almost immediately — not out of overwhelm, but from the recognition that she had finally given herself the space she’d been needing for a long time. There was a sense of relief in that moment, like her body could finally breathe.

The days that followed weren’t easy. There were moments where things surfaced in ways that were uncomfortable and unexpected. But she didn’t shut down or pull away from it. She stayed present with herself, even when it would have been easier not to.

That’s where the real shift started to happen. Not from forcing anything, but from allowing her body to move through what it needed to — in an environment where she felt supported, held, and not rushed.

By the end of her stay, there was a noticeable change in her. She felt calmer, more settled, and clearer in herself. Not because everything had been “fixed,” but because something had shifted in how she relates to her body and her health.

She said to us that life will look different when she gets home.

And we believe that.

Because when someone moves through an experience like this — where they actually stop, listen, and stay with themselves — it doesn’t just stay here. It carries forward into how they live, the choices they make, and the way they take care of themselves moving forward.

We’re so proud of you Tegan!💫

One of the most damaging ideas we’ve absorbed about health is that the body is fragile.

That it breaks easily.
That it needs constant intervention.
That symptoms mean something is “wrong.”

But the truth is, the human body is remarkably intelligent.

Every system you have — immune, digestive, neurological — is designed not just to function, but to adapt, repair and recalibrate in response to stress, damage and change. This isn’t theory. It’s biology.

As Hippocrates once said,
“Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.”

The issue isn’t that the body lacks the ability to heal.
It’s that we’ve lost trust in it.

We’ve been taught to see symptoms as problems to suppress, rather than signals to understand. To override fatigue instead of asking why it’s there. To silence the body instead of learning its language.

But symptoms are not random.
They are responses.
Adaptations.
Attempts to restore balance under the conditions the body has been given.

The body is not fragile.
It is responsive.

And when you start to see it that way — not as something that’s failing you, but as something that’s constantly working for you —
the question shifts.

Not “what’s wrong with me?”
But…

“what is my body trying to do for me right now?”

Because the moment you stop fighting your body…
you can finally start working with it.🩵

PETER💙

Peter’s stay with us was a really memorable one.

He came here as a bricklayer — a man who has spent years working with his body, relying on it, pushing it, asking it to keep going no matter how tired or sore he felt. That kind of life shapes you. You learn to push through. You learn to override discomfort. You learn to wear fatigue as part of the job.

And that’s part of what made his journey so powerful to witness.

He didn’t come in chasing something flashy. He came because something in him knew he couldn’t keep relating to his health the same way. He had looked into fasting for years, had done shorter ones before, but this was the first time he gave himself over to the full experience.

What stood out about Peter was that he really let it work on him. Not just physically, but as a person.

There’s something very humbling about a fast. It strips away your usual momentum. You can’t distract yourself with work, routine, or the next thing to get done. You meet yourself more honestly. And for someone like Peter, who has spent most of his life building outwardly, this became a chance to rebuild inwardly. And then came the shift.

Not just that his body started to feel different, but that he started to think differently about his life. Differently about ageing. Differently about what his next decade could look like. There was something deeply moving in hearing him speak about feeling healthier in his 60s than he was in his 40s and 50s. That’s not just about wellness. That’s about a man deciding that the future does not have to be a decline.

It’s easy to assume that by a certain age, the body is simply on a one-way track. That energy fades, joints ache, and you just learn to manage it. Peter’s journey challenged that whole idea. What he experienced here was a reminder that the body can respond so differently when it is finally given the right conditions — rest, support, space, and the chance to reset.

Peter, we’re so proud of you. It was a privilege to watch you back yourself in this way, and to see what opened up when you did.🩵

Your metabolism isn’t broken. It’s adaptive—and it’s responding to the signals you give it every day.

What we call a “slow metabolism” is often the result of repeated inputs over time: constant glucose spikes, chronic stress, and never allowing the body to enter a true fasted state.

At the centre of this is insulin.

Every time you eat—especially refined carbohydrates—you trigger a rise in glucose and an insulin response. That’s normal. But when this happens all day long (meals + snacks + grazing), insulin stays elevated. And insulin is a storage hormone.

Chronically elevated insulin:
– suppresses fat burning
– promotes fat storage
– reduces insulin sensitivity over time

This is how insulin resistance develops—not randomly, but as a predictable adaptation to constant stimulation.

Now layer in stress.💥

Cortisol increases blood glucose by driving gluconeogenesis in the liver. So even if your diet is “healthy,” chronic stress can keep blood sugar and insulin elevated, reinforcing the same cycle.

Add stimulants, under-eating, or overtraining, and you further disrupt the nervous system and circadian rhythm—key regulators of metabolic health.

But here’s what’s often missed:
Your body was never designed to be in a fed state all day.

It’s in the absence of food that key metabolic processes occur:
– insulin drops, allowing fat mobilisation
– AMPK activates, supporting energy balance
– autophagy begins (cellular repair)
– mitochondrial function improves

When we eat constantly, we shut these processes down.

So it’s not just what you eat.
It’s how often you eat—and the internal environment you create.

Because when those signals change, the body adapts.

Metabolic health isn’t something you force. It’s something you allow. And the easiest way to tweak is through basic lifestyle changes🌱

A first look at something we didn’t expect to become this meaningful.

Rooted in the relationship values of covenant, grace, and sacrificial love, Boundless Love is a space for couples to experience fasting and connection side by side.

Sharing this kind of environment changes the way you relate to each other….

Early mornings together.
Walks around the lands.
Sitting in stillness.
Moving through the physical and emotional shifts of fasting — not alone, but witnessed.

There’s something powerful about being seen in that state.

When energy is lower, when emotions surface, when the body is recalibrating — there’s less performance, less distraction, and more truth in how you show up with each other.

So far we have seen couples support each other through discomfort.
Laugh more.
Have conversations they hadn’t made space for in years.
And settle into a slower, more grounded rhythm together.

It wasn’t just about connection —
it was about experiencing each other differently.

More present.
More aware.
More attuned.

It became clear very quickly that this wasn’t something we could offer just once.

So Boundless Love is now a permanent part of the Tolman experience.

A space for couples to step out of their usual environment and into something that allows real connection to unfold.

This is just the beginning.✨

22/03/2026

We’re introducing something new at Tolman —
and it represents a significant step forward in how we support healing during fasting.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is now available.

This is a technology that allows us to directly influence one of the most overlooked drivers of chronic disease & slowed recovery: cellular oxygen availability.

Most hyperbaric chambers currently offered sit around 1.3–1.7 ATA.

While beneficial, this level of pressure primarily enhances oxygen delivery through haemoglobin — which has limits.

Our system operates at 2.0 ATA, the point at which hyperbaric therapy transitions into medical-grade application.
At this pressure, oxygen dissolves directly into the plasma in significant amounts, allowing it to reach tissues that are typically difficult to oxygenate — areas affected by inflammation, poor circulation, or metabolic dysfunction.

This drives meaningful physiological change:
• increased mitochondrial function & ATP production
• reduced inflammation & improved tissue repair
• enhanced circulation & angiogenesis
• support for neurological recovery

During fasting, the body is already shifting into repair: insulin drops, autophagy increases, inflammation lowers, and damaged cells are cleared.

But these processes are oxygen-dependent. By increasing oxygen availability during a fast, you enhance the body’s ability to repair, detoxify, and regenerate at a cellular level — creating an internal environment that is low in glucose, low in inflammation, and high in oxygen.

This aligns with the work of Otto Warburg, who identified low-oxygen environments as a driver of dysfunctional cell metabolism.

When oxygen is restored, the terrain shifts.

Pressure matters.
Lower-pressure systems do not achieve the same level of oxygen diffusion into plasma — limiting their depth of effect. At 2.0 ATA, we reach a level where true therapeutic impact occurs.

Unlike other machines on the market, this system has undergone rigorous testing, with advanced safety mechanisms and precise pressure control

While the physiology is complex, the experience is simple — seated comfortably in a recliner, allowing the body to fully relax while the work is done.💧
