Meet Michael, Our Senior Trainer at Select Security Training Academy (SSTA)

Michael is more than just a trainer at SSTA—he’s a dedicated leader with a passion for both security training and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With over 17 years of experience as a Jiu-Jitsu trainer and numerous competitive titles, including Pan Pacific Champion and Australian Champion, his expertise speaks for itself.

His journey is one of hard work and perseverance, earning a 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and over 20 professional certifications in security and training. But it’s not just his achievements that set him apart. Michael has a way of connecting with his students, making sure they not only learn the skills but also gain the confidence they need to succeed in the field.

Achievements:

- 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Over 17 years as a Jiu-Jitsu trainer
- Multiple-time Pan Pacific Champion
- Australian Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
