Tonight is the night of the full moon 🌝 in Capricorn ♑. The sun 🌞 is in Cancer ♋ & the full moon in Capricorn is opposite. The cancer sun is shining its light on the Capricorn moon. That light is lighting up the shadows that you might not otherwise see or perhaps want to see. Cancer (ruled by the moon- a water sign)- nurturing & emotional opposite Capricorn (ruled by Saturn- an earth sign) - ambition & grounded in reality & structure. Could the sun be shining a light on where you have been too focused on your goals perhaps to the detriment of nurturing yourself or other emotional bonds or even cutting yourself off from your emotions? Or perhaps too focused on being the 'parent' rather than nurturing your inner child?
The power of the full moon is its energy in helping us find a balance between these 2 opposing signs. This full moon, you might want to let go of things that make you too focused on your goals, so that you can recognize & nurture your emotional bonds. Happy full moon 🌝

So we are now a little bit into Cancer ♋ season. The sign symbolized by the crab 🦀.
Cancers often are very crab-like in their desire to keep their sensitive emotional selves from being hurt. They can be very private with their emotions & they love their homes & families. My daughter is a Cancer but she is also a teenager, so that last attribute is rather hidden at the moment, but hopefully will soon shine through again 😊
So Cancer this is your season. Celebrate it by nurturing yourself & doing whatever you need to fill your cup so you can keep caring for others in that beautiful way you do so well. Essential oils like chamomile, neroli, sandalwood, lavender & myrrh will be your best friends. And Cancer season here in Australia at least (especially Melbourne) is great for using those essential oils in a lovely warm bath.
Cancer season is not just for Cancer Suns/moon/rising signs but everyone can take advantage of this beautiful nurturing energy. Even if things don't feel so nurturing at the moment.

Tonight is the new moon in Cancer ♋ The new moon 🌑 is a time to begin the cycle again, the time to dream & bring into being. Because the new moon (& sun) are in Cancer, this new moon is all about emotions & nurturing ourselves, defining what home is for us or giving us some encouragement to create 'home' as a safe emotional haven within ourselves. Inner child work anyone? Jupiter is also next to the moon in Cancer so it may amplify your emotions or may help with the creation of emotional wisdom. The new moon is also in a positive aspect to Mars, so Mars' power & ability to assert may help us create this nurturing 'home' within.
Neptune & Saturn are in a less positive aspect to the new moon, so there may be issues of boundaries needing to be asserted or the desire to escape doing all or any of this!
There's certainly lots of energy around at the moment. Never a dull moment! Happy new moon in Cancer folks.
