I think the depth to which a practitioner can empathise and understand a client is to the level they, themselves, have directly experienced. (Maybe I’m wrong, but this is my intuitive belief).

There’s a difference between the mind having a perceived ‘understanding’ and the heart knowing the ‘feeling’.

Without going into too much detail within a post (always open to sharing in a chat), I wish to share with you a brief snapshot of experiences (physical, mental, spiritual) I’ve had in life and what has moulded me to the person and massage practitioner I am today.

I’m grateful for all of it, as I feel it’s given me a richness of experience, empathy, compassion and understanding of others.

☯️I’ve experienced the duality of life, from the highest highs to the darkest lows.

🏃‍♀️‍➡️My body knows the feeling of pushing to my maximum in competitive running; the discipline and extreme… to times of zero motivation to get off the couch.

🤸🏼‍♀️I’ve felt the frustration of injuries and debilitating illness… and the immense joy of achieving sporting and personal goals.

🩷My body has experienced natural births, post natal depression, the fluctuation from honouring my beautiful body… to the darkness of loathing it.

💔I’ve journeyed the unpredictable path of grief in witnessing my dad’s journey with cancer and watching his passing, pregnancy loss, losing friendships and the heartache of lost love.

🧘🏼‍♀️I feel the energised joy of being grounded within my body… to times in the past of total disconnection and shut down.

🙌🏼I know well, the feeling of wanting to be on the massage table to treat sporting injuries… and the feeling of wanting to be on the massage table to fully rest, receive and have downtime from hectic life.

☮️I’ve been on a conscious journey of self-inquiry and personal growth since 2007

🔥I feel deeply and love deeply.

I hold grounded and balanced space for my beautiful clients from a place of no judgement, compassion and love.

MMT technique of unique Bodywork is very different to what I’ve previously trained in and I’m excited to soon be offering this as well as my current style.👏🏼

How do you start your day?

I observe a significant difference in my overall wellbeing and energy levels when I start my day mindfully moving in nature and seeing the sunrise,

compared to

no nature connection and starting the day on screens, no movement, rushed, racing thoughts. This leaves me in a low-vibe for the rest of the day.

✨For high vibrations, inner peace and energy give some of these a go upon waking…

Cooking Indian food does not have to be complicated!

In this 3 hour workshop, Sharda will demonstrate how easy it is to make curries from scratch. You will also learn about some of the spices you need in your kitchen to make a flavourful Indian curry. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way and printed recipes will be provided.

At the end of class, we will enjoy eating lunch together, tasting all the curries with Basmati rice on the side and papadam.

All the curries will be gluten free and can be made Vegan/Vegetarian.

*All natural premium ingredients and organic used as much as possible.
